Will he contact me this week?

I'm Mercury which clearly shows my hope for contact from this guy. I don't know if I should use the 3rd house ruler or 7th house ruler. If I use the 3rd house ruler then Mercury would be conjunct the Sun (3rd house ruler) in the 5th house.
