I'm struggling to find the significator for the plastic facial surgery I am wanting to get. My significator is Mars being the ruling planet of Scorpio the ascendant.If I am Mars, the ruler of the planet of the sixth house is also in Mars, so would I then be the moon?  IP: Logged |

As for the question I prefer a time stamp like "Will I have a plastic surgery within this year?"As for the significator I go for the 6th house whenever it includes a health issue. A surgery that is only for beauty I would take the AC, Moon and Venus in a good position. IP: Logged |

Hi yeah the surgery is for beauty. As I am Mars, I'm not sure whether the surgery would be Mars instead. Venus aspects make sense, but there's not much to go on in the chart.
8th for surgery, Mercury?
Or stick to venus-mars?
Or would you calculate the part of surgery, which is the following formula: degree of ASC + degree of Saturn - degreee of Mars. If I did it right it's 18 Leo, so the Sun. The sun makes a sextile to Mars, my significator.

Interesting questions.For this question I took the planet that signifies the part of the question.
Moon= The course
AC=Mars= rules surgery
Venus= beauty
---------
Mercury = doctors (2nd house of money, it will cost something)
Sun = vitality of the patient There is Moon in the 10th and is very close to the MC. The Moon will aspect Venus by opposition "very soon". = no? as an answer, because of the opposition. I have not looked any deeper on the planets and their positions and the rulers of the houses that may be included for such a surgery. I did an online calculation on your Arabic part and got 16AQUA18 situated in your 8th house.

Hi thank you, I've got confused over significators. Your explanation makes sense, I also even wondered if it would be Venus as one part of the surgery is to fix a injury from years ago...but alas, it looks like a no.I can't see me changing my mind soon, it's been dominating my mind for years. And il defo still save up and try. Even if it's likely to be a fruitless mission. I may get less obsessed with it, but once I get an idea in my head I usually never forget about it, even if it takes double/triple the time! Thanks for the link to the Arabic parts calculator. And thank you for your reading, it's how I learn in an abstract way. It will be interesting to see what the 'stepping back' or change of mind comes from the moon opposition. Moon ruling 9th trine Pluto suggests a change of method to me, abroad perhaps so I'll ask again once I'm closer to the goal.IP: Logged |
