My ex and I broke up on the day Mercury retrograde started. We have been dealing with a problem for over a year and a half now and it has been causing huge trouble in our relationship. On the day of the retrograde, I lost it and couldn't handle it. He did something two years ago that I couldn't forgive him for. I kept trying but I guess I wasn't doing it right. He even did his best to make up for it. I have been critical of him and have been bringing it up constantly because I couldn't get over it. I ended up hurting him even more than he hurt me. I ended things with him because I wasn't sure if I was even able to go on knowing I wasn't able to trust him. Yet, here I am regretting everything and slowly moving past what he did. But now I am afraid because I am not sure if he will even take me back. He has been sending mixed signals. We still live together and it has been very difficult for both of us. I know he still loves me and I do too. I'm just not sure if he will take me back or not.

Mercury is in retrograde right now, so I am not even sure if I should be asking questions at this time.

My significator is basically Mercury too which is in retrograde right now. It's in square with Jupiter (him), exact. It's promising, but with the square, will this cause trouble? I'm basically weak right now, what with Mercury being in its detriment sign as well. I feel like I cannot really do anything with this situation. It literally describes the thing. Moon is dignified but is gonna oppose Saturn, also dignified. He seems to the one who will have an easier time moving on from this. Both his significators are in the 4th house. Will this mean complete separation for both of us?

Any input will be appreciated. Thanks!

My opinion is that youll be together very very soon.But you need to control yourself cause you seem too weak and he doesnt like it at all.Anyway chart,as i see it,shows youll be back together like now.By the way give feedback,cause i reply to posts cause i want to learn horary and feed back is wanted.

My advice to you without yet looking at this chart, write him a long letter expressing everything you need to say, get off your chest, own up to, feelings, griefs, etc. the longer the better.
If you guys still live together, you have a chance / can be considered. This karmic cycle can be put to rest the sooner it’s processed.

You're actually quite right. I'm the more emotional one in the relationship. I admire his strength and resilience. He has Moon conjunct Jupiter in Capricorn natally, probably what was you are seeing and what his significators are describing right now. We have opposite moons, so it makes sense he views me as weak. Even I think so too at times. He did give me a book on stoicism and continually drills it in my head to read it. I'm away for a few days, hopefully to have a clearer view on things. I'm really trying my best not to contact him for the time being.

I think I have written way too many letters about how I felt. Maybe I'll try to write something with an honest approach but also a more positive outlook on our situation this time. I've always written to him about how I felt about his actions and sometimes blaming him. But I never really had the chance to reflect on everything else.

I think that noone is weak by nature,circumstances make us feel weak,and its normal.This chart makes me think that you are in weak position now,but ofcourse this can change,after all mercury is retro and in pisces ,that will change after while .It will move on to aries ,a much better position.Till then i think that you should just put yourself first,try see what you really need ,what you really want to change ,not for him ,but mainly for you.

That’s a good way to look at it, everything else. And maybe after you’ve written it all down, ask yourself, what am I missing - what am I not learning from this? And then start your actual letter from there. No one wants to hear what’s wrong - rather what are we learning about ourselves. Your karma together could be insecurity. Happens to the best of us.

Just a bit of an update, we have not gotten back yet but we're slowly starting to act like before towards each other. He initiates most of the affection lately since I've started to give him space. I've been working on a new business venture I want to start when Mercury enters Aries. He says he's waiting through the retrograde to think things through too. We'll definitely see soon. But I am positive it will happen.
