Currently all of us Californians are under a stay at home order with no end date given according to Governor Newsom. When will this order be lifted? http://imgur.com/a/K3j6Enm The 4th house is the house of the homeland and it is Virgo ruled by Mercury who also rules the Gemini ascendant. Mercury is in detriment in Pisces close to the MC but still in the 9th house. When Mercury conjuncts the MC in about 3 degrees will that see the ban lifted? Mutable signs in angular houses are weeks in time length according to this: http://mithras93.tripod.com/lessons/Lesson8/ . So possibly 3 weeks? Mercury also leaves its detriment of Pisces and enters Aries around April 10/11 (2 weeks away), so could that end the ban too? On April 10, 2020 at 9:47 PM PDT Mercury will ingress into Aries which is about 3 weeks from when this chart was made and when Mercury will conjunct the MC in the 3 degree orb. I take the orb time span to be weeks and not months because a conjunction in an angular house (midheaven) in a Mutable sign (Pisces) indicates WEEKS not months. The midheaven sitting at 7 degrees Pisces 52 minutes 40 seconds minus Mercury in Pisces at 4 degrees 52 minutes 7 seconds equals 3 degrees 0 minutes 33 seconds, and this is how I got the whole 3 weeks timing thing. The 6th house of health and illnesses in this chart is Scorpio, ruled by Mars. The ascendant is ruled by Mercury. On April 18th Mercury will sextile Mars at 8:54 PM Pacific Daylight Time. Maybe that could be another possible time the lockdown could be lifted. Also, the moon is in Pisces (a mutable sign) and in the 10th house (an angular house) which suggests, according to this website regarding horary timing that I've now linked 3 times, that a planet in a mutable sign and angular house indicates WEEKS timing.

No, but those who are more vulnerable can stay home while others can work.IP: Logged |

Of course not, but I only asked when the ban would be lifted. The virus may not completely go away for months, but the ban obviously cannot last for the whole year. IP: Logged |

^ I'm not clear on how legal jurisdiction works, but the initial group of 6 Counties that did the SIP thing first a few days ago extended their initial end date or 4/07 to 5/03. Which is passed your 4/18 date.Gov Newsom may declare it over for CA on 4/18, but that doesn't mean the restriction will end in CA(businesses closed before Newsom's thing, aka County > Entire-State Gov?). Mb not your Q tho. Mb all you asked/care about is when Newsom will declare SIP is ended. IP: Logged |

Can you link it? Here in Orange County we’ve been ordered to stay at home since March 17, so 3 weeks IP: Logged |

In Dallas, stay at home ordinance is extended to end of May... surprised California isn’t like this considering y’all live on top of each other—maybe not to the extent of NYC but moreso than here IP: Logged |

Since we started lcokdown early we've actually been doing way better than most states. Also, California is spread out, NY is not. You guys in Texas did it way too late. Your lockdown has been way too lax. Also, LA currently has the cleanest air in the world right now since we've been locked down so long, so that is the only good thing about this lockdown. And our governor said today that our long stay at home order has been helping flatten the curve in this state. I'd certainly say we're doing better than most states. This site predicts that CA will reach it's death peak in 10 days, on April 17th, with a total of 70 deaths statewide that day. But I think it'll be sooner. IP: Logged |

http://eastcountytoday.net/contra-costa-county-stay-at-home-order-extended-until-may-3-v2/ CCC is a cluster of 6? that banded together for the initial SIP Order. I assume the other 5 Counties stayed banded i.e. all 6=May 3. IIRC these 6 Counties were the first to issue SIP. Perhaps in the entire U.S., but may be wrong there. Point is, they/those 6 did SIP before Newsom's state-wide ban. So I assume if they closed before a state-wide order, it doesn't matter what the State says - if the Counties shut stuff down without State law, this means they can shut down stuff without State Authority (i.e. Newsom might say OK over on 4/xx, but if the Counties want to remain closed they will/can). I have no idea what ccc or sip means. And actually, this screenshot clearly shows the peak in CA is April 15th as this website where I got the screenshot from clearly states, so locking down until May is the worst idea. People will riot and I'll fully agree with them.

^CCC=Contra Costa County... you asked for a link, I gave you one about 1 of those 6 Counties that shut down stuff pre-Newsom (Idk what the others names are). SIP="Shelter In Place". Same thing as 'stay-at-home' or whatever else, just different wordage. IP: Logged |

Yes my county, Orange County, was one that shut down 2 days before Newsom shut the state down IP: Logged |

So I had a thought. Since it's April 14th and the lockdown isn't lifted, I obviously was wrong in my prediction that April 10/11th could possibly be the end of California's lockdown date. However, as of today, April 14th, Governor Newsom DID announce he was taking steps with other West Coast states to lift the lockdown and unveiled guidelines. He didn't give a possible date when the lockdown could lift, but he did provide me with some hope that this lockdown won't go on forever.I just remembered that the 12th house is related to isolation, like being isolated in jail/solitary confinement... and a forced stay-at-home lockdown where you're in isolation, especially if you live alone. So in this chart the 12th house is Taurus, ruled by Venus. If I take the 12th house ruler Venus to signify the lockdown and basically forced self-isolation then MAYBE I can say the lockdown ends when Mercury conjuncts Venus on May 22nd at 1:41 AM PDT at 20 Gemini. Venus will be retrograde at that time, so I don't know what that could mean. IP: Logged |
