Topic: Should I set my mom up with my coworker

There is this man that I work with and I think he would be a good match for my mom. I am posting a question chart and my question is "Should I set my mom up with my coworker?" I'm not sure if this question can be answered???? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!  IP: Logged |

Hi AmberMoon,I'd give your co-worker the 6th house ruler, so his significator would be Mars in Cancer in 1st house. Your mom is ruled by the 4th house ruler, giving her the Sun in Taurus in the 12th house. I don't think your mom would like him. She receives Mars in detriment and the very position of Mars is not a very favourable one, as he is not very strong being in his fall. It doesn't look like he would be able to make a good impression on her. IP: Logged |

Haha, okay. Thank you so much! I was like 50/50 on whether I was going to play matchmaker or not. The last time I played matchmaker for a friend it turned out horribly horribly wrong. That's why I asked beforehand this time! Maybe I won't "set them up" per se, but just introduce them if I get the chance without any pressure. Then I'll see how they interact. Oh really? I thought it was the 4th, since it's a family member... My bad then! Soo this would make mom Saturn in Aquarius in the 9th. She's strong but Mars receives her in detriment, so he may not feel an interest in her. I wonder if she might even appear too confident and making him uncomfortable, since he's weak in his fall sign. The Moon makes an applying sextile to Mars, so I think he would be open to the idea of meeting your mother. However, the Moon then squares Saturn, reenforcing that things might not work once they do meet.

Haha, it sounds like either way them falling madly in love and me having a super rad stepdad just isn't really in the cards....oh well! Thanks everyone!
