So sad i got diagnosed with AVPD(avoidant personality disorder),started psychotherapy into feb and taking meds,so difficult to deal with, due to gossip, backbiting, critics of others i retired from my job and felt into deep sadness since then.

Do you think i can overcome the disorder and socialize, make friends, relationships etc?

I believe, with care and attention for the long term, one can achieve anything set for one’s heart to do.

God bless

You are represented by Mars in 8H debilitated in Cancer. It shows your worries over this matter. Mars in Cancer is although debilitated but it is also in triplicity so you're not totally weak.

6L Venus represents the illness which has accidental dignity in 7H and it conjunct Mecury (gossip) but it has no essential dignity so I believe you can overcome it.

Doctor said me it needs long term treatment, could be a long distance to improvement, meds need time too to help increasing serotonin,i'm dissapointed couldn't get a therapy earlier so to heal my feelings and emotions sooner, now i suffer,i retired from old job due to pressure and gossiping, they hurt me some b***hes in workplace without doing or said nothing,i left almost with severe depression that i'm weak and cannot defend my self to criticism of others.

This disorder is serious.

Avoidant personality disorder (AVPD) is an enduring pattern of behavior related to social inhibition, feelings of inadequacy, and sensitivity to rejection that causes problems in work situations and relationships.

The disorder is characterized by extreme shyness and sensitivity to criticism from others.

Ah, I see.
I am NOT into Horary.

I think the other two replies you received deserved a more 'sensitive' personal response from you.

You have written that your psychiatric disorder
gives you a sensitivity to being 'rejected' ? ---

And yet, you should know that 'you' have done that to others??.

There are LL members who have taken their time
(both in this forum, and Personal Readings)
to give you 'sympathy' for your 'sorrow'--

Your responses have seemed 'dismissive' and fall short of appreciation to those who cared-enough for you TO have responded, when it looked like a LONG time went by, and no one would...

Horary requires specific study and training.
Maybe you could $ hire $ an astrologer who is "expert" at it. Or leave a request in the Forums of website Astrodienst. They have some seasoned astrologers who hang out there. Even have people there who speak your native language.

Look under the Forums TAB.

Again, the other idea is for you to PURCHASE a personal reading--
Find a metaphysical occult shop near where you live. They usually keep lists of professional astrologers (and card readers). You can build a relationship with them, in your locale.

While I was researching your disorder, the 'feeds' were suggesting Crappy Childhood Fairy.

Like I tried to say, she covers a LOT of ground, with very practical suggestions where it comes to the 'relationship' issues common with that disorder, and other symptoms you suffer with.

Sorry that happened to you.

However, that video-therapist explains 'how' the 'b'-factor you said happened at work by your peers gets 'set-up' unconsciously, by things you do and had no idea of the response you'd get.

She's very informative, gentle, and incredibly practical.

Wishing you good luck
and miracle recovery

(no more readings for now)

I’m not a doctor so I’m afraid I can’t answer this qn.
It’s best to seek professional medical advice.
What the Horary is showing is that you can overcome it if you want.

(Totally Agree!!! Thanks Hikaru.)

Requires 'willingness'
availability and FOCUS --
with a dedication to change.

Another part of chart suggests working on self-talk and a reframing of what she thinks she perceives.

'Medicine' won't "do" it FOR you.
Blunts.

Side-effects can make symptoms worse--
I was close to someone who was driven to commit suicide, BEFORE the FDA discovered 'suicidalness' as a side-effect of the anti-depressants {SSRI-Class of drugs w tranquilizers} she was taking.
Yes!!

The DRUG was making HER feelings of depression turn to a Suicidal-WORSE, and this was creating terrible 'self doubt' in her.

It was the MED side-effect, and not HER psyche...
which crippled her self-confidence about getting any better.

She had a degree, and worked a professional job as a charge-nurse on the floor of a hospital;
left-behind a husband,
their daughter,
and her beloved "5 year old" grand-daughter whom she loved to spoil.)

Incompetents!!!
They REALLY do NOT know what they're doing!!..

(I have a hard time forgiving them for that.)

The DRUGS can make you feel like KILLING yourself for no-reason behind it.

{They still don't know all the side-effects.}
Get off those meds, when you can.

'Medicine' helps illnesses, like schizophrenia and psychosis.

With you out of work now, you'll be 'supported' by family for a while?

USE that time-off to the BEST efforts you can.
WORK HARD-- and maybe after a few years, you can find yourself re-booted, with a New Opportunity. RE-start your life.

Your midlife transits, at their end, can possibly bring you that.

May your latter years, be more productive for you,
than your former.

Also, find some music that is therapeutic,
with LYRICS that urge and help you through the depression times.

Because I come from a faith-based background,
I was fortunate to use gospel music for helping through the tough times.

Again, Best Luck to you.
Be Focused. Work HARD. ..
Use your Time Wisely---

Also? during your time of unemployment,
Use a few hours a week to do VOLUNTEER work.
Helps your own self, when you give of self to others.

About the friend I mentioned in above post.

She was a Capricorn, and charge-nurse at a floor in a hospital. She was given anti-depressants -- which chemicals inside her body drove her to successfully commit suicide.

She had become depressed because her SISTER had died, committing suicide and dying 'by accident'.

Her sister had an Attention-Seeking disorder (borderline/bipolar/ ~). She was 'often' in the mood to ACT OUT, to get attention from the family, the community.

Of course with my Cappy friend being a medical seasoned Nurse, she would respond to emergency-calls for Rescues with this sister, after the sister would again play dramatic dangerous games (for attention and enjoying it).

When the authorities investigated the sister's attempt-at-suicide by overdose AGAIN, this time they found evidence that the sister actually died accidently. Unintended-successful suicide attempt. The phone she would use accidently knocked out of reach somehow, while the drugs she took brought her close to the point of making that 'usual' call -- for ambulance/doctor/whatever.

My Cappy friend went into depression after her sister died.

Never knew that the prescribed DRUGS {enhanced SSRI's and some tranq's} she was trying-out at the direction of a (low-reputation) shrink was INCREASING more and more desire to take her own life.

So yeah... I've had some negative experiences around friends who got into the 'system' {whirlpool} involving MH. I think they are still in the dark ages, as far as treatments go.

Mirage29,

I’m sorry about your friend. Yes, side-effects is something to watch out for and one also has to be vigilant of the changes happening within them, and to switch or stop Med when necessary.

Important for you is that you have faith that your doctor is right.

Do ONLY what he says.
He is the Trained Professional.

Visit the Fairy website I gave.
She's a trained Professional IN your disorder.
It's FREE support.

Another idea is to do a search for social media support groups for your disorder. You'll find find support for your specific disorder symptoms with them. Make Friends.

Hikaru!
Her death was a tragic loss of Life of a Good Person,
interacting with System that needs radical Reforms!
The way it is, they hurt more people than they help.
