I’m Mars and he’s Venus and while we’re not aspecting each other, the moon (the moon is used to time events in horary) is currently applying in trine to Venus (him) and in square to Mars (me). Could this mean the next event that occurs between us will be pleasant since the Moon is in an applying trine to Venus (him)? Venus and Mars aren’t applying to any other planet besides Moon, so could that mean the moon is somehow involved in bringing us together? Collection of light or something?

You are Mars and Moon. He is Venus. As Moon has an unobstructed applying aspect with Venus that is Yes answer for your question!IP: Logged |

It will be for 4 time units, probably 4 weeks according to I.Goldstein-Jacobson in her book!
Because Moon is in common sign in Angular house she said that represent weeks.
As Venus is in cardinal sign and Succeedant houses that is weeks she said.IP: Logged |

You are 1H ruled by Mars and the Moon. 7H is ruled by Venus and the Sun.Venus is ruled by itself and receives the Moon in face which is trivial interest and Mars in detriment – he doesn’t like you that much. Don't worry! Ambivalence is normal! The Sun receives Mercury in rulership and exaltation so there is something else he is more concerned about and the Sun doesn’t receive any of your planets. Mars also receives Mercury in rulership and exaltation so this has to be something that concerns you both, only you will know what that might be. Mars receives Venus in triplicity and fall, he brings you down in some way or you are disappointed in him. Moon does apply to trine Venus but because the receptions are pretty low level there is no real motivation to make this aspect work. There is no collection of light here. Moon is your co-significator but it also rules the question. If you want to date this person I think it will be up to you to make the move for it to happen or else it won’t.

You’re right he doesn’t like me. He told me in March. I get the feeling he actually kind of hates me and for no reason at all. I’ve got other dating prospects, but for some reason I can’t stop thinking of him. But if it is only up to me then it won’t work. I’ve tried to make it happen and he hasn’t been into it. You’re right he brings me down and disappoints me. I guess maybe the something he is more concerned about could be a person. I’m assuming. I should be mroe concerned about someone else as well, i had a great first date on Wednesday and have a first date with another guy tonight, but again, this particular guy is someone I can’t seem to forget. Since my significator Mars and his co-significator Sun both receive Mercury by rulership and exaltation it could be the fact that we both have school in common. Same major (communication major which is ruled by Mercury) and I had him in my college class last semester which is where I first saw him (it was online though). We first talked on a dating site (Mercury also rules online comm as well). He is a graduate student and I’m an undergraduate and we had a class together that had graduate and undergrads in it. He is an assistant professor teaching the 100 level freshman class so Mercury could show he is more interested in his role as a communication professor and in finishing his graduate degree in communication. Mars (me) also receiving Mercury well shows that I’m also a comm major. IP: Logged |
