I thought I would ask the question because when I was hanging out with him last, I was showing him something on my Facebook timeline. As I was doing this, I scrolled past my new profile photo and he made me stop, took my phone and clicked on the photo and enlarged it and just sat there staring at it for several seconds in awe. It was super cute. Just wondering if he likes to look at it every now and then.

I think the best way is to see if there are receptions between you 1H and he 7H and an aspect which will give you an answer one way or the other about how he feels about you and then you can rest assured that he will be looking at your pictures because that's what people do when they fancy someone!

Venus receives Mars in triplicity and face so he likes you. Mars receives Venus in triplicity and term - you like him. Venus and Mars are applying to conjunct - I reckon things will start heating up soon. So I'd say he looks at your pictures and he's interested in you.

If you want to look at it in another way the 2H rules photographs, 3H rules the internet and some say that the 11H rules Facebook but that's too convoluted! The 10H is anything public and also marriage/relationships - Venus is conjunct the 10H - I think it's safe to say he's looking.

HAHA, oh my word, you're too funny! Of course I could just ask him but it's complicated (when is it ever not?!). He is a very private and skittish person and asking him would probably make his brain explode! I could ask him in a flirty way I suppose if the topic comes up.

Thank you so much for taking a peek at it! I had come up with a yes answer myself but I hate to interpret my own charts. I find it too hard to distance myself and be objective so I really appreciate when others help me out!

Can I ask you a question or two? Do you ever compare natal charts to horary? I find it interesting that his significator, Venus, is conjunct his natal Sun. Also, you said we are applying to conjunction - but not until after Venus goes direct so it won't happen when Venus is retro? Does that matter? Can you tell in units of time when "things will start heating up?"

I don't compare natal to horary but some astrologers do when it comes to major matters like having children or marriage - big things.

Even though Venus is retrograde the aspect still happens so he might be holding back a bit but the interesting thing is that usually Venus is the faster planet but as it is coming out of retro it is slow and Mars is fast so it is Mars that is applying to Venus on this occasion - so it will be you that gets this off the ground. The faster planet is usually the keener one.

There is about 8 degrees (8 'somethings'- days/weeks/months) before conjunction so a little out of orb at the moment as soon as it starts getting closer to the conjunction I'm sure you will feel the heat!

I just realized that you commented on my post about us having a "romantic encounter" and you said the answer was "no." So has something happened recently that would change this outcome do you think? When you say the "keener one," do you mean the more interested party or the one who is more willing to be the initiator?

Also, I asked if we will see each other in Florida which is a trip I am taking and he might also go. It's February 20-23. This was the chart. I find it interesting that I am Mars and he is Venus again! Also, on Feb 22, Mars and Venus will be exactly conjunct.

It's hard to say if different questions get asked in between the main one. People usually think they are asking different questions but generally it all comes under the same umbrella of getting together because you'd be doing those things together if you were a couple so I don't think isolating a question is that helpful really and leads to confusion and muddy charts.

The Venus/Mars conjunction happens on 16 February but that doesn't mean that's when things will happen, that's just when the planets meet in the sky. Timing for the most part is symbolic and is worked out with the degrees of the aspect, the house and sign the applying planet is in.

The faster planet is always the keener person, the one that wants to make it happen. They are the one that applies to the slower one. So in your chart it is you that will initiate it not him.
