I asked this question two years ago. Since there's no aspect between Sun-Saturn, I considered Venus-Saturn. They'll make a conjunction within 4 units. Do you think it's four years? I'm currently dating a guy I really like, but it's been only two years since I asked the question, so I'm sad because I'm afraid it's not him

Also, what do you think about Saturn being in the 6th house, since it's considered a bad-fortune house?

This is the chart:

'When?' is an assumption that you will meet someone - the question should be 'Will I meet someone and then look at 'when'.

As that aspect happened in a succedent house, in a cardinal sign that would have given weeks/months and as this chart over two years old I think you should just ask again.

Thank you! Isn't the conjunction happening in the cadent 6th house? Also, if the timing was weeks/months, I'd have met someone (and I did, but it didn't last, and it didn't happen within the first 4 weeks/months). That's also why I thought it means 4 years.

I can't see this aspect being 'years' because Capricorn is a cardinal sign, had it been in Aquarius then maybe. When the aspect was made it happened in the 5H not out of the 6H.

Timing is notoriously difficult in horaries and they are rarely spot on, there is usually a bit of leeway on either side and maybe it was the relationship you had as it was over quickly. Even though you worded the question with 'long term' in it that doesn't mean that the universe knows what you mean to be 'long term'. It's the same as if you say 'soon'. 'Soon' to you might be in a few months but to me, I mean NOW! The more specific you are, the better your answer.

Deborah Houlding doesn't use any variation of Sun and Venus aspects with other significators in the chart - these two planets stand alone. If there is an aspect with the Sun when used for a man as his co-significator and Venus for a woman's then this would show that there will be a relationship and the quality shown by the aspect but you can't use Venus even if an aspect is made with one of the other significators because Venus is the natural significator of women and therefore rules 'all women' as the Sun rules 'all men'. So if there is nothing going on with the Sun and Venus then don't use them. John Frawley on the other hand says you can join these significators together but as you are asking about a yet unknown person this can't work in this situation because the two main significators have no interest in each other (receptions) and there is no aspect - no connection at all and as the Sun in your chart is you as a person you need this connection. Hence, had you asked 'Will I meet a long term partner?' It would have shown 'no' and as a chart isn't forever you can ask again and even time limit it so you aren't waiting on an event that might not happen.

Personally I think you would be better off asking a fresh question or getting your natal chart looked at to see if a marriage/relationship is promised in that because if it isn't, no amount of horaries will show one either.

Thank you, I agree with you. I should've asked more specifically, but at that time I was going through a bad breakup, so I was just thinking "when will I finally be happy with someone who doesn't leave me?"

I'm not sure I'll ask the same question now, despite my curiosity. I found that horary influences me too much, in a bad way. When I get my answer, then I stop living spontaneously. I've been dating many people these years, and every time I liked the person I was preoccupied with the thought "it's been only 2 years, he can't be the one the chart is talking about".

Thank you

The first thing to understand where relationships are concerned is not to think that someone else is going to make you happy because that isn't going to be the case. You need to find happiness in yourself and change your self concept. If you have the assumption that someone is going to leave you, cheat on you etc then that is what will happen. You need to work on changing those assumptions so you see it reflected in your life. The more you chase something, the more it runs away from you. If you see every man as a potential husband before there is a real connection then that comes off as desperation and they run! The more aloof you appear, the more curious they are and more likely to come after you. I've been on this earth long enough to know that is just the way it is.

One of the problems these days with horary being more popular is that people do use it for idle curiosity and not because it's something they really want to know, most of the time it's pure impatience. Horary should be used sparingly and only when necessary to get the best answers, although you will always get an answer.

As I mentioned before, if you want to know if there is a relationship in your future the best place is to look is your natal chart. Most people these days know their birth time so it isn't a problem. When horary was popular centuries ago, barely anyone kept those records and so it made sense they would ask these questions. You don't have to - you can go straight to your birth chart!

Sorry for the old lady rant but I see so many charts online from young women constantly asking the same question for every man they meet and get mad when they don't hear what they want to and go off and ask the question somewhere else in the hope they will get a different answer. It only leads to disappointment more often than not.

Horaries are not written in stone, they are only a reflection of what is happening at the time the question was asked so you still have the power to change anything you don't like about it.

Wishing you all the best!

Thank you for your "old lady rant" I'm very aware of my own limits when it comes to love and I totally agree with you, to find a long-term partner shouldn't be one's very first priority. I've always appeared aloof, despite my desire of eternal love and clingy feelings, so maybe people don't run away because of that, but my feelings still feel clingy and painful, and that's definitely something I've been working on for a long time.

I've never actually considered looking at the birth chart to answer these questions, I've always thought it doesn't reveal precise informations. I'll start looking more into it
Also excuse my English, I'm italian :P

The fact you have recognised the issue is great, a lot of people don't and look for someone else to blame. Things get easier when you know it's all about you!

Your English is excellent - I couldn't string a sentence in Italian let alone talking about astrology in it!
