Recently my department at work has had a major overhaul and my director left. I've been leading the department for about a month waiting until we found a replacement. I wasn't able to have a meeting with the candidate upper management had in mind but I was just told they hired her. I'm nervous to say the least so I asked if her and I will get along. This doesn't look good to me. Any opinions?

Well so far it's like a seesaw. I'm not sure yet if I'm a fan of the way she works and her demeanor but I can get along with her easily... Until I don't. Some things have really made me angry and I plan on addressing them soon.
