He lives in another state actually and his ex is in another country. So basically the distance is an issue for him with me and he left his ex of four years because she took a job requiring her to move every two years to different countries. This was just a few months ago in September so if she was fired and decided to move back to the US I don’t think she’s in the picture. Also she is younger than him so her being saturn would be odd. I am a year older than him

He also said he didn’t like how I needed reassurance and how I always asked about his ex. I only knew him a month. I met him while he was here visiting family for Christmas and decided to go fly to him where he lived last week. I don’t like long distance but was willing to. I went to Denver last week where he lives (I’m in California where he is from hence why he was here visiting fam for Christmas). But he said distance and my need for reassurance and asking about his ex put him off. Still, I didn’t see him not wanting to do long distance. He seemed extremely interested in me and told me a lot how he really liked me and that our first date was better than the first date of that of him and his ex of four years who he lived with.

Also, he makes more money than me. So I see you saying second house equaling him liking me for my money and possessions, but he has more than me. My second house is his 8th so maybe he was using me for sex

I am surprised his cosignificator being Sun receives Venus (me) in his triplicity indicating some interest in me still. I also do think Mars in my first does indicate his interest in me rather than the other way around. Obviously I’m still interested in him, but I think him in my first indicates his interest still in me. But yeah the distance and his interest in me isn’t enough and I also told him we had too many silences when we talked. That could be because of Mercury retrograde but that ended and he would have contacted me right? He ended things on Monday when I got back home from visiting him in Denver

Maybe if he lived here or I lived there he would have overlooked my need for reassurance and me asking him about his ex. Maybe he would have talked to me about it and been willing to try. I mean the man absolutely was gushing over me the two times we met before he went back to Denver. And then in Denver last weekend he also was so into me. He could have been lying this whole time but I don’t think so. I do think distance is a huge thing

I also tend to have men come back into my life years or months later. This has happened many times. I’m wondering if maybe he might decide to move back to California or something might bring him back to live here

Ultimately though, I actually found myself getting annoyed at the silences in conversation we seemed to often have. I didn’t like talking to him on the phone because we wouldn’t have much to say and it would be awkward. I’ve never experienced that before. So I definitely found myself questioning things and sort of dreading the trip. The trip was good, but the silence was an issue which could have been because Mercury was retrograde wreaking havoc. Neither of us have mercury rx in our charts, but Mercury was transiting retrograde in my 7th house so I should have known better than to book a trip during that time.
