I asked this guy if I could come over. And he told me he's busy right now. And that he has a lot going on. But that he would let me know when it's good for me to come over. When I asked a Horary question about whether or not he would reach out I got a no answer. But it's strange that he would say he would. Yet the chart says he won't reach out. IP: Logged |

One unwritten rule of horary is believe the chart - people say all kinds of things, but it doesn't mean they always tell the truth. If you don't trust horary to tell you what is happening then there is no point running a chart on the situation as the question should be pressing and sincere. The chart isn't written in stone, it is a reflection of the current situation so the outcome may change if the parties involved change their actions.IP: Logged |

So you're saying I should believe astrology over what a person tells me in real life? I once believed the chart over what the person was saying. And I accused the person of lying and they said they weren't. IP: Logged |

If you 'accused' them of lying of course they would deny it! I bet 9 times out of 10 that a person accused of lying would say they're not even if they are, chart or no chart! No one wants to be accused of anything in reality, guilty or not. When you cast charts to do with infidelity or lying etc you should tread with caution anyway just as you would if someone had told you the information and never 'accuse' anyone of anything, find another way to broach the issue. Personally, I wouldn't have been practicing and using horary astrology for the last 30-odd years if I didn't believe the answers I get from it, how I deal with the information I glean from the chart is a separate matter. He said he’s been busy and has a lot going on right now. But will let me know when it’s a good time for me to come see him. That’s not unreasonable or unrealistic. This is what he told me before I asked the question. I don’t think it’s healthy to put astrology before real life.IP: Logged |

If you read a horary chart thoroughly with the right question, to include the Considerations before Judgement you will always know whether the chart is totally valid or not and can be read (you can still read the chart as long as you are aware of the conditions to take them into consideration). In this case, there is no relationship between the planetary hour and the Ascendant. Without the support of the lord of the hour, nothing will occur. The absence of a connection between the lord of the hour and the Ascendant or its lord signals that something is amiss and not functioning properly. The person asking the question may not have a genuine intention. The situation is not ideal, and proper procedures are not being followed, potentially leading to negative outcomes or dissatisfaction. The astrologer may face challenges in verifying the validity of the question posed by the person. That consideration would let you know the question was ‘off’. Astrology IS a representation of real life. 'As above, so below'. What's not 'healthy' is using horary astrology for any minor question that you would get the answer to by being patient. As you asked the person straight out, then why did you decide to ask a horary question, why didn’t you believe him? In the case of your question, you had your answer because he told you himself. You then asked a horary with a question you already knew the answer to but didn’t trust he was telling you the truth. What you should have asked was 'Is he telling the truth?' You won't get the right answer if you don't ask the right question. If you look at the chart from that question, he is Venus having just changed signs at 0 degrees – he’s moving on from a situation to a new one, separating from a conjunction with Saturn (whatever Saturn may be) in the radical 12th house – his turned 6th house – which rules healing and sickness, service and work among other things. His planet is dignified by exaltation and term. He is probably telling the truth. Venus receives Mars in triplicity which shows he does have regard for you but right now, his priority is himself. Understand your motive for asking a question and phrase it correctly and you find the chart answers it.

He's a diabetic and if he's having health issues he should just say that. But ok I get it thanks he said one thing and the chart says another. IP: Logged |

He has regard for me? Yeah, I don't know if that really makes sense. IP: Logged |

Why doesn't it make sense? - he likes you but doesn't love you so he has regard for you. Would you rather be in his detriment or fall? It at least shows that he doesn't think of you in a bad way and it's better than term or face. Horary isn't just about whether planets make aspects, there are all kinds of things to consider. Receptions are people's motivation - without that even aspects won't necessarily make something happen. IP: Logged |
