Mars isn’t conjunct the Ascendant, it is separating from it and is in the 1st house. Mars is in its own sign and receives Venus in detriment so he is receiving the querent in a way that is against Venus’ nature and not valuing her properly. Mars being in the first house just shows he is in her life. If Mars was in Venus’ sign and in the 1st house then that would show he is very interested in her. In this chart the Moon is VOC and the main significators are separating so this chart was never going to have a positive outcome – and it is nearly three years old!
