Hi guys,
Here is a link to a chart that shows scores from both male and female perspective
http://www.astrojyoti.com/kootamatchingchart.htm If you google "(insert nakshatra) compatibility" or kundli matching chart, you'll eventually find one from the male perspective.
Joni Patry's galactic center site is good. The Prokala site has a free kundli matching calculator - it gives you a pretty good idea of the match between whoever you are interested with detail and some nuances thrown in re: manglik balance, etc. It gives you a score. Carol Allen would charge like $25 for this generic stuff. Ripoff!

Barbara Pijan Lama's site has a lot of info on each nakshatra (from a more scholarly/esoteric perspective.) You can have compatibility with someone and even stay with them for a while but you basically are drawn to what is outlined in your navamsa chart b/c that is your subconsious idea of "partner". Also, don't know if she addresses this on the site but her perspective is that the Rahu & Ketu ruled nakshatras are very different & typically most compatible with each other due to being so different. I'm a female Swati (Rahu ruled) moon which is very difficult to match and I can get along with others due to additional influence of Venus & Jupiter in my moon however, I have found my longest term friendships/relationships are with other Rahu/Ketu ruled nakshatras. They just understand me better and also happen to align with the nodes/angles on my Western chart (I have the big karma points - nodes & Saturn - within a few degrees of my Western IC & MC axis.)
It can happen in many ways but for the relationship to stick, I definitely think there has to be some connection to Saturn as well as the nodes.
Also, look at the padas of the nakshatra (Which are like decanates & divided into quarters of 3'20) and have further planetary rulership. For instance...First pada of Bharani (approx 6'20-9'40 Taurus in Western) corresponds to Leo Navamsa (Sun) which clashes a bit with Swati's Venus & Rahu rulerships & gets along better with Mars, Jupiter, Sun types. I am the 4th pada of Swati which is Pisces navamsa & has Jupiter influence which helps but there is some clashing here.
2nd pada of Bharani is "Virgo" navamsa (9'40 - 13 Taurus in Western) which is ruled by Mercury and gets along best with Mars, RAHU & other Mercury.
However, the 3rd pada of Bharani (13'00-16'20 Taurus in Western) corresponds to Vedic "Libra" navamsa and is a much better fit for a Swati "Libra" Moon. (Gets along with Venus, Rahu, Mercury energy.)

KRS channel Astrology does some good videos on the different padas of nakshatras which explain variation between the same moon signs & also within the nakshatras.

4th pada of Swati (12'11 Scorpio in Western - 18.41 Libra in Vedic)is "Pisces" Navamsa and gives a Jupiter influence. I do attract Purva Ashada (Sag/Jupiter types.) Western Capricorn moons end up in my Western 4th house which lends intimacy & feeling of closeness but ultimately, they have not been the easiest fit due to my moon preceding theirs and Jupiter not being very Rahu/Venus friendly. We tend to end up with more of a push & pull sibling rivalry like relationship.
To correctly calculate padas, you do need to be able to do the conversion properly. That was very kind of whoever listed the Vedic to Western degree conversion however the difference is usually around 23-24 degrees (not 26) so those starting points need to be backed up another 2-3 degrees. (Wikipedia & some other sites list a 26 degree difference but I think that's too big an orb.) You can also just cast a chart that lists the padas for your various planets but not all do.
Also important, both Carol Allen & Sam Geppi talk about this, is that if possible, you want the man's moon sign to come BEFORE the woman's and have that be the shortest distance (i.e. man's Cancer moon to Woman's Libra moon. Woman's moon is 4th from the Man while her's is 10th from his) Or...have them be equal distance Man's Aries Moon, Woman's Libra Moon) - they are both 7th from each other.
The reason is that this way, the man's attention is naturally focused on the Woman, he is the initiator and she is receptive. Otherwise, if the man's moon comes after hers, she will always be chasing him and thinking of him faster than he is of her and this often leads to a chasing feeling that makes the female dissatisfied and the male feel hassled & aloof. I have found this to be true. As to how much it effects the relationship depends on acceptance of gender roles, etc. but beware that whoever's moon precedes the other's (less than 7 signs away) is typically the more attentive partner. If signs are evenly spaced in opposition (7 apart) obviously, they are equal and balanced.
Sam Geppi (American Academy of Vedic Arts and Sciences) www.samgeppi.com
also talks about how to match the planets together. You do cross compare, Ascendant, Sun and Moon nakshatras in chart as well as personal planets so there is more layered cross comparing going on than just Moon/Moon.
Also, he talks about the importance of the rest of the chart - male's Jupiter as it relates to females Sun/Moon/Venus/ASC. (Trine optimal) and ideally how Woman's Jupiter relates to Man's Sun & Mars.
Simon Chokoisky is also interesting and is describes spirit/dharma type matching that is contemporary but largely based on Vedic system.
