I myself am a Cancer ASC and got a career/marriage consultation from Kapiel just last month.

He was absolutely spot on about everything. He described my exact career field and the type of men I'm attracted to.

He told me he had a very strong feeling that I'll marry in 2018. I'm 21 now and I'll be 23/24 in 2018.
He didn't say if it will end up in divorce at all. He just said 2018 strongly showed it because I'll be running my Jupiter-Rahu dasha.

Jupiter for me is in Libra, conjunct Venus and Rahu, so this shows Jupiter wants to give me marriage.
And Rahu is in the 7th house in my Navamsha.

And when people say they dont "feel" like a sign is because you have to take into account the Nakshatra the planet/asc is sitting in.

I suppose you all are just beginning so it would be scary thing to get bombarded by too many complications. I will just highlight some of the basic plus points to give you the description of the future spouse.

Take your lagna chart, rashi chart and navamsa chart.

Look at the 7th lord from all of them.

Then look at the 7th lord from Venus/Mars

Then find the location of all these lords. Check if they are in friendly signs or not.

It also matters which houses houses these lords occupy in all the charts precisely in the Lagna chart followed by others.

Last, but not the least find the degree and judge the Nakshatra. If you want to go in much detail then find the Nakshatra pada.

Here is an example, from my Dad's chart:

His 7th lord from lagna is moon, from moon (rashi chart) it is Saturn and from Navamsa it is Mars.

Moon Nakshatra is Arudra

Saturn Nakshatra is Pushya

Mars Nakshatra is Dhanishta

Moon is in the 6th house in lagna chart.

From Venus the 7th lord is Moon as well so Moon nakshatra will be emphasized. The same can be calculated for the rest.

Counting from that here is the description of Dad's spouse:

The female natives of Ardra Nakshatra are bestowed with unique formation which makes them appear much different upon land. keeps their dominance high and makes them easily recognizable by the people around. The women of this arena are believed to be beautiful along with strong natural charm besides which they carry a prominent nose.

This fits my mom perfectly. She is head-strong woman and has got a prominent nose. She also stands out in the crowd. She loves to gather knowledge, is free minded. She is short-tempered and may appear to be rude at times. Despite of looking tough, she is extremely compassionate.
