Wooooo, different charts and there's no Panchadha Kundali with your Lagna, which is unusual in computer softwares/websites nowadays. There's no problem about the Panchadha, though. I'll calculate it manually and work on your chart tomorrow.

Yep, I saw the Kendrum dosh over there. Just don't take it like a terrifying scene of a horror movie. Yes, your Moon is in enemy sign and it is pretty much a "bad girl" in your chart but we'll discuss that later. I'm mentally tired tonight to put my head around complex stuff, lol!

Hi, nikki

I took a look at your charts as you asked.

Shad Bala (Planetary strength)

Bhav Bala (House strength)

D9

1) Combined Friendship of Planets (Panchadha) - Dignity:
Sun in Cancer (Great Friend)
Moon in Aries (Enemy)
Mars in Libra (Friend)
Mercury in Leo (Great Friend)
Venus in Cancer (Neutral)
Jupiter in Libra (Neutral)
Saturn in Virgo (Great Friend)
Rahu in Gemini (Friend)
Ketu in Sagittarius (Friend)

2) Functionality of Planets for Aquarius Ascendant:
- functional benefics: Saturn and Venus. Saturn is the great one (its mooltrikon sign, Aquarius is in the Ascendant);
- functional malefics: Mercury, Moon, Ketu and Rahu. Mercury is the great one (its mooltrikona sign, Virgo, is in the 8H);
- neutral: Sun, Mars and Jupiter. However, Sun and Mars still are natural malefic influences and Jupiter a benefic one.

3) Most Effective Point (MEP) of the houses:
The Ascendant is at 11:53 of Aquarius, so this is the MEP of the houses of this chart. Any house with a non mooltrikon sign who gets an influence of a planet (benefic or malefic) within a 5 degree orb from that point (between 6:53 and 16:53 degrees) will be strongly influenced by it. In this chart, 3 planets are within that range: Jupiter (9:48), Mars (11:46) and Mercury (13:30). Mars is the one able to create more impact based on its degree (almost exact to the MEP).

4) Besides the Panchadha and Shad Bala table, other factors to be considered regarding planetary strength in this chart:
- Kendrum dosh (2nd and 12th houses from the Moon are vacant);
- Sun in old state (26:02);
- Venus in infant state (4:14);

5) Aspects involving career potentials analysis:
5a) Identify and evaluate Chara Atmakaraka (temporary soul's desire): personal (planet with the highest degree in the chart);
5b) Check the Amatyakaraka (planet with the 2nd highest degree in the chart);
5c) Check the 10H, 11H and 3H in D1;
5d) Check the 10H and 3H in D10;
5e) Check the 10H and 3H in D9;
5f) Synchronize the previous findings with the dashas;

So, let's follow the step by step:

5a) Chara Atmakaraka: what's your soul's desire in this lifetime?

The Moon holds the highest degree in your chart (28:59) meaning it's your Chara Atmakaraka. Any profession you choose needs to be aligned with the purpose of this significator. If it's not, materializing the career will be very difficult or even impossible. The Moon is in Aries in the 3H and despite it's placed in an enemy sign in an Upachaya house, that specific placement gives the Moon a lot of directional strength (the highest Dig Bala in the table) for two reasons: 1) the 3H is between the 2H (house of Taurus, the exaltation and mooltrikon sign of the Moon) and 4H (house of Cancer, own sign of the Moon); 2) although the Aries Moon is at 28:59 (old state), it's within a 5 degree orb of its exaltation (3 degrees Taurus) and only 1 degree distant from the 4H (house in which the Moon gets its highest Dig Bala). So, we see that planet is able to throw its influence powerfully at this chart. The problem is the Moon is a functional malefic for Aqua Ascendant and it's under Kendrum dosh (unstable). Two other malefics, Ketu and Mars also influence the Moon. In D1, Ketu doesn't bother the Moon because of its degree (distant from the MEP) and the fact the 3H has a mooltrikon sign (Aries) but in D10, it does cause the Moon is in Capricorn (non mooltrikon sign). Mars is neutral for this chart but still a natural malefic and a temporary enemy of the Moon and it holds the 2nd highest Dig Bala in the chart. In D1, Mars is the Moon's dispositor and also aspects the Moon effectively (its degree is almost exact to the MEP). In D10, Mars conjunct the Moon. The strength, the sign placement, the dosh and the malefic influences on the Moon explain your inability to settle down in one career. The mind simply can't get focused on one thing for long and you end up feeling lost and frustrated. With Mars aspecting the Moon, that situation can lead to a lot of irritability and anger that may be supressed most of the time (Mars in Libra) but that can lead to sudden emotional verbal blowups (Aries Moon in the 3H).

The Moon in Aries as the Chara Atmakaraka means your soul's desire is related to nourishment and compassion through action. The action will mainly manifest through communication (3H). The Moon rules the 6H, house of service, so you'd like to take action to help other people, that makes you feel good. Venus and Sun placed in the 6H confirm that and also shows you wanna shine, be skilled at your work and passionate about it. Venus is way stronger than the Sun in the 6H (check Dig Bala) but in infant stage showing maybe you already found something you're passionate about but you're not prepared/qualified enough to go for it. The Moon in Krittika Nakshatra also speaks for criticism and perfectionism in your nature. Krittika Nakshatra-pada 1 is ruled by Sun-Jupiter. Sun is in Cancer in the 6H and Jupiter in Libra in the 9H: expansion of higher knowledge is required to serve other people professionally speaking. So yeah, you'll need to improve your education to be successful but don't beat yourself up. Saturn as the 1st and 12th lords creates a lot of identity/self-steem problems specially before the Saturn return. Its placement in the malefic 8H in the sign of Virgo reinforces that and shows that you are too hard on yourself in terms of self criticism/perfectionism. The Moon's dispositor, Mars, conjunct Jupiter in Libra in the 9H and look at the Moon: you have a strong sense of justice and fairness and have no problems fighting for what you believe in. Aries Moon is a natural leader, independent, entrepreneur, kind of bossy (averse to take orders) and action oriented. Being placed in the 3H and looked by a Mars-Jupiter in Libra that are all about equality, your soul's desire is to go for a career in which you can lead and speak for other people helping them to fight for equality. In D10, the Moon conjunct Jupiter, Mars and Saturn in Capricorn in the 9H: Capricorn is about law, structure, order. In D9, the Moon conjunct Jupiter in the 12H in Sagittarius: higher learning, foreign elements. Do you see there's a pattern in the charts supporting one another? Aries (action, courage, fighting), Libra (equality, justice), Sagittarius (higher knowledge, wisdom, teaching) and Capricorn (organization, government, law) are all linked. A profession related to human rights, diplomacy or the law field match those configurations. An activist who lectures or journalist who writes about social justice, a lawyer or a diplomat who bring two parts to an agreement are good practical examples.

Because the Moon is a strong functional malefic in you chart and is under Kendrum dosh, you'll face some struggle till you accomplish your Chara Atmakaraka. The good news is that between 40-42 yrs old, the dosh is almost nulified and the mind gets more stable. Another thing is that the Moon is placed in the 3H, an Upachaya, and that type of house is the best placement for strong malefics cause it makes a person gain strength overtime to defeat obstacles and achieve solid goals. The 3H is also a Kana house, which is related to fulfillment of personal desires and ambitions through efforts. Looking at your Bhav Bala, the 3H has a low score (not really strong) because its dispositor, Mars, has the lowest Shad bala in the table. But Jupiter (the planet that has the highest Shad Bala) is seriously helping Mars in D1 (through conjunction and holding the lowest degree). Mars is really strong in D9 (exalted in the 1H, Aries house and kendra) and exalted again in D10 (in the 9H). Jupiter is in its mooltrikon sign in the 12H in D9 and debilitated in D10. Watch out for blockages caused by fear. Those placements of Jupiter reveal a hesitation in following your dream (Jupiter-Moon in the 12H in D9) related to a fear involving financial reasons (deblitated Jupiter conjunct Saturn in D10). However, with Mars exalted in both charts, we see there's a way to make things happen with a structured plan of action. The 3H only matures at 37-39 yrs old, so a solid definition related to your Chara Atmakaraka, therefore, to your career, will only be experienced to the fullest after that age. So you see there's some synchronism involving the stabilization of the mind and the professional settlement.

5b) Amatyakaraka: how will you accomplish your soul's desire?

The Sun holds the 2nd highest degree in your chart (26:02), so besides being your natural Atmakaraka, it's also your Amatyakaraka. The Sun is in Cancer (great friend sign) in the 6H, one of the dhusthana houses. Despite the good dignity, that house placement is not really great for the Sun, cause it loses directional strength there (low Dig Bala): the 6H is placed in a nocturnal part of the chart and the Sun does better in diurnal houses (its maximum Dig Bala is in the 10H). The Sun rules the 7H (house of relationships and legal partnerships) and placed in the 6H (house of conflicts, competition, litigations, debts). The placement can make you feel like helping other people solve problems, being a sort of a mediator. The Sun is in Ashesha Nakshatra pada 3, making a person very clever, goal-oriented and interested in improving things in society; that pada specifically makes one very inclined towards social responsibility. Ashlesha pada 3 is ruled by Mercury-Saturn so it involves rational thinking and order/structure. Mercury is in the 7H Leo and Saturn in the 8H Virgo. The sign/house placement of Mercury speaks for getting renowned through mediation regarding other people/legal partnerships; the placement of Saturn indicates getting structured through details and organization to dig for the truth and find out what's hidden. Mercury is the great functional malefic for this chart and although his directional strength is really poor (lowest Dig bala, poor ability to damage through aspect), it still can create serious damage through rulership and house placement (it has the highest Shad bala and it's 2 degrees distant from the MEP). So it's necessary to be careful with all kinds of communication, including documents, cause a strong malefic Mercury can make one very vulnerable to get involved in gossips, rumors, scandals and frauds. That planet rules the 8H (shared resources/other people's money/inheritances), 5H (casual sex/romantic affairs/risky ventures) and is placed in the 7H (partnerships). So, the 5H/8H matters should be watched carefully cause if something wrong happens the results will manifest in the 7H and may ruin personal and professional relationships you have.

In D9, the Sun is in Aquarius in the 2H in a Dainya Parivartana yoga with Saturn in Leo in the 8H. For Aqua Ascendant, Sun and Saturn are neutral towards each other but in this yoga, Saturn (the great functional benefic for Aquarius Ascendant) is weakened in the 8H and the Sun is strengthened in the 2H. With this lords exchange, you may have a hard time with your savings due to sudden expenses or expected money that doesn't come. That can make you overvalue and link your self-steem to what you possess. As malefic Mercury and Venus conjunct Saturn in the 8H, you might feel tempted to take shortcuts to try to make money fast. In D10, Sun conjunct Rahu in Scorpio which can give you an obsession about gaining power in your professional relationships. You may have some difficulty in taking orders and submitting to authoritative figures in your professional life. The Sun's dispositor is the Moon in Aries, the same planet that represent your Chara Atmakaraka (which I already described in the previous item). Considering those factors, you'd do better in a career in which you could use the "aggressive" mental energy you have in a productive way.

All those configurations support a career in human rights, diplomacy or law field (specially dealing with litigations, including divorces), since the 7th lord is in the 6H. An activist, a diplomat and a lawyer need to be clever, competitive, organized, attentive to details and investigative in order to win a court case or get a satisfactory agreement, and such professionals become renowned through the good results they achieve to other people.

5c) The 10th house: where is your authority placed in this world (your life purpose)?
The 11th house: where does your authority come from?
The 3rd house: where do you put your efforts into?

The 10H represents where the power of a person lies on. That's why it's considered the house of authority, social projection and, therefore, career. With the sign of Scorpio in your 10H, you exhibit an aura of power and magnetism and at the same time that you can easily attract people to you, they can feel inhibited towards you at first. You are ambitious regarding a career and would like to do something that could bring you financial return and security. With Scorpio in the 10H your authority lies on transforming other people's lives, since that sign is about death and rebirth. But how? The lord of Scorpio is Mars in Libra (which I also described in the topic about Chara Atmakaraka). Mars is with Jupiter in Libra in the 9H and just to remember the keywords that define it: mediation, conflict resolution, fight for equality. Mars is in Swati Nakshatra pada 2, which is about succeeding in negotiations/contracts (specially involving the government). For this specific pada, making a good deal is important not only for its direct results but also because it's a form of exercising power. Swati pada 2 is ruled by Rahu-Saturn. Rahu is in Gemini in the 5H: very skilled, impactful and convincing communication (inclusive involving foreign languages). Saturn is in Virgo in the 8H: perfectionism, fastidiousness and discipline to investigate things.

The 11H represents where you power comes from. That's why it's considered the house of gains. Sagittarius in the 11H expands the learning process of a person through network and creates a desire of getting involved in some sort of humanitarian work in which the person can contribute with higher knowledge. With that sign in the 11H, the source of your authority is follow your dreams and the principles you believe in. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter which is placed with Mars in Libra in the 9H in Swati Nakshatra pada 1. Swati pada 1 is also about negotiations/deals/contracts but always based on righteousness and ethics. There's no place for cheating, scams or shortcuts here since Swati pada 1 is ruled by Rahu-Jupiter.

The 3H represents where you're putting your energy in terms of accomplishing goals. That's why it's considered the house of efforts. Aries in the 3H shows your put your efforts into action, into getting things done fast. You're an action oriented person and have no much patience to deal with procrastination. Aries is ruled by Mars which is in Libra, already described above. The efforts are aligned to the Chara Atmakaraka, Amatyakaraka, and also to the authority and its source.

Again, there's a pattern of repetition here in which the human rights, diplomacy and law field fit really well cause they involve mediation, agreements, communication skills and getting to the core of things. As Saturn also represents government, it could also represent work for the government such as an attorney. Jupiter could also represent teaching/lecturing as a parallel career.

5d) D10:

The 10H is Aquarius, ruled by Saturn. That planet conjunct Mars, Moon and Jupiter in Capricorn in the 9H (house of higher learning). Saturn delays things so that could represent a new career that will come through higher education after maturity. Capricorn is about law, order and structure, so the career will tend to be developed slowly but on solid basis.

The 3H is Cancer, ruled by the Moon. That planet conjunct Mars, Saturn and Jupiter in Capricorn in the 9H. The Moon (the mind) needs to be focused and structured to fight for what it believes in order to accomplish the soul's desire.

Those findings support the previous conclusions. Jupiter is debilitated in this chart so the warnings: watch out for loans to finance higher education, keep your moral values always in check and don't get carried away by materialism.

5e) D9:

The 10H has Libra, ruled by Venus. That planet is in the 8H Leo and conjunct Saturn (which is in Dainya Parivartana yoga with the Sun in the 2nd, mentioned before) and Mercury (malefic), and is also aspected by the Sun and exalted Mars. The presence of malefic Mercury and Saturn conjunct the 10th lord in the 8H could also indicate work in the law field investigating frauds/"white collar" crimes practiced against the government.

The 3H has Pisces, ruled by Jupiter. That planet conjunct the Moon in the 12H Sagittarius. There's a strong desire to help other people as a form of nourishment. The 12H deals with spirituality but also with confinement/jails/foreign lands/segregated groups. Your efforts could be directed towards people/situations involving those elements.

5f) Dashas: your Moon probably started to give you more pronounced worries regarding career in 2006 (when you turned 24, maturity age of that planet). Before that, you already had a Moon Mahadasha (1987-1997) and a Mars Mahadasha (1997-2004). I believed you faced some sort of struggle during those periods since the Kendrum dosh makes the Moon very unstable before 24 yrs old. Since then, you had several sub-sub periods involving the Moon (Chara Atmakaraka), Sun (Amatyakaraka) and Mars (the Moon's dispositor) that happened in 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 and also one for the current year and the next (10/2016 to 03/2017). I believe everytime those sub-subperiods of the Moon, Sun and Mars kick in (also transits), your mind gets frustrated with what you're doing professionally, you get lost and move on to the next choice. Mars matured completely when you turned 28-31 yrs old. So I think that you're gonna feel the effects of Mars maturation over the Moon when you turn 37-39 yrs old (when the 3H, house the Moon is placed in manifests its matters to the fullest). That should happen between 2019-2021. Now you're going through Rahu Venus which doesn't create a very direct interference in the career, but the Venus period has been playing a major role to make you more aware of what you are passionate about (fighting for other people´s right) since Venus is the dispositor of Mars in Libra. When you enter Rahu-Sun in 01/2019, your Amatyakaraka (Sun) will be activated and you'll feel yourself pushed to really go for it: the right career. You'll enter Rahu-Moon in 01/2021, and your Chara Atmakaraka will be activated: your mind may start to get afflicted again and wonder if you're doing the right thing (Rahu and Moon are both functional malefics). In July of the same year, you'll enter Rahu-Mars, and Mars (the Moon's dispositor) being activated will "kick" your Moon's ass, lol, to make you have courage to go ahead in the career. In 2022, you enter Jupiter Mahadasha that will last for 16 years, a planet which is also involved in your career linked to Mars, Moon and Saturn. During the Jupiter mahadasha you may go back to school to expand your knowledge and also get involved with teaching/lecturing. Also check the transits and subperiods and sub-sub periods involving the Sun, Moon and Mars during Jupiter mahadasha cause they will affect your career in a more pronounced way.

*For this method of prediction all planets that are not functional malefics are considered functional benefics. So when they are lords of subperiods, they tend to give good results (if not weak/afflicted) even when the main period lord is a functional malefic like Rahu.

What I saw in your charts was a clear pattern of repetition: a career that involves resolution of conflicts/diplomacy allied to the promotion of social equality; communication; and government/teaching at a certain degree. Based on all that and paying attention to the Nakshatras, I'd say the career in the law field was the most visible and compatible to all the findings.

Omw roseelima, you are such an amazing person to take the time and give me such an in dept analysis. May you have good karma follow you always. I am totally speechless everything you said was just so accurate. I need to read this a few more times. I am very strongly inclined to fighting for the rights of LGBT community. I have written a book as well about how to use the mind positively *the nourishment factor u spoke about* I will release it in a couple of days. I'm sure u can see the struggle I have with my mind moon dasha was a nightmare. I never want to be back in that frame of mind. I was literary on meds prescribed by my psychiatric.
Thank you so much for this, words cannot describe how grateful I am and how much this means to me. If there is anything i can help you with please let me know. Thanks again

You're welcome, nikki. I really enjoy doing that whenI have free time. I didn't mention other things (placement of lords, including yogas) cause the focus was on career and some assumptions would get very repetitive. I know what you mean about getting lost. I'm going through a huge professional change too: I'm quitting my job and restarting my life in another country in a few months. I've been a teacher of a certain field for almost 16 yrs so it's not easy to leave something you're used to behind. But the end and beginning of cycles are part of our path and we need to detach from things when they are restricting our growth. That's how I feel now: that it's time to go for something else although I think that no matter what I choose, I'll still be teaching cause it's part of my nature, a big passion...

Based on the repetitive patern of Mars in Libra, it was very clear your inclination to fight for other people's rights. Also it's interesting that you wrote a book during Rahu Mahadasha if we consider Rahu is in Gemini in the 5H (communication being used to create something) having the desire to improve other people's confidence in the background (Mercury, Rahu´s dispositor, in Leo in the 7H). I really hope you find your way. Go for something you're really passionate about: this will help you to keep your mind focused and use all the energy you have in a constructive way. You really need a career that provides you constant challenges so you can take action, "beat" them by doing a very good thing: helping othe people in need. Congratulations for the book, btw!

Thanks so much an I also bid u all the best in your new journey. Everything happens for a good reason we all have to fulfill karmic cycles which doesn't necessarily go according to our plan.
Vedic is just so amazing on its own.

in vedic astrology specially in jaimini principles, rahu co lords aquarius, lord of lagna is always beneficial for the native even if malefic, being a malefic it does carry its difficult nature and obstructions but will do good eventually,
lagna lord/mahadasha lord rahu is placed in aridra nakshatra, aridra nakshatra is ruled by rahu, so we see a strong rahu in your chart
rahu in aridra nakshatra makes one wander around like rudra- overturning everything it can get its hands too, just like a thunder storm affects the entire city and every corner, similarly aridra nakshatra makes one move around exploring every aspect of a particular subject, makes ones mind go in different directions, thinking of different ideas, trying out almost everything in a particular subject or field, carpet bombing a subject or activity,
aridra nakshatra gives a wandering mind, with lagna lord rahu placed in that nakshatra in the 5th house of discernment/knowledge/mantras it can make u research a lot in these fields specially during the rahu mahadasha, rampaging through books/articles/resources in search of the most precise/exact answers ( rahu means exact/being the best )
also creating volatile affairs(5th house ) if u r considering it,
parashara mentions rashi drishti in bphs before his chapter on graha drishti,

according to rashi drishti dual signs(and planets within them) aspect each other, fixed signs aspect moveable signs and moveable signs aspect fixed signs
so your Gemini/rahu/ 5th house is aspected by graha drishti of sat/virgo/8th house, ketu/sag 11th house and pisces 2nd house
rashi drishti show kriya shakti- action
graha drishti(planetary aspect) show iccha shakti- desire
desire can exist but not necessarily be achieved, rashi drishti shows what is certain and will happen for sure as the zodiac signs are fixed, whereas planets are moveable
so the 8th house of occult/11th house of friends/groups/social work/2nd house of financies-family will be affecting by your rahu 5th house, all 4 houses will influence each other as dual signs aspect each other with rashi drishti
in general rahu mahadasha, can make a person interact with foreigners/or even travel to foreign countries
in your chart I see ruler of 2/11 jupiter placed in 9th house of foreign lands in swati nakshatra( again ruled by rahu )
2/11 being houses of income/gains

one striking thing is that your lagna is in satabhisha nakshatra ruled by rahu, 5th house has lagna lord rahu in aridra nakshatra( ruled by rahu ), 9th house has Jupiter in swati nakshatra ( ruled by rahu ), 1/5/9 being trines are excellent for learning/knowledge and with this heavy emphasis of rahu in the trines will show foreign knowledge or knowledge not known to people around you
have u heard of the concept of argala ?
the second house to any house feeds the earlier house, rahu in 5th house feeds your 4th house of home, the qualities of planets in the 2nd house influence/color the house before, with your rahu mahadasha active I feel it can be possible of you changing your home to a foreign location(rahu) for a while for gaining knowledge(5th house )
your arudha lagna is also the 9th house when we consider rahu co lord of aquarius, so it can indicate satisfaction in a foreign land/environment
have u thought of travelling abroad for some studies or learning ?
