Do you think a strong Saturn (in Aquarius) in the 8th house would create a sort of "death shield" around someone?

I find myself oddly shielded from death. I am 25 and have never had any family or friends die or become seriously injured. Not event grandparents, aunts, uncles... nothing!

I find it to be a beautiful blessing as I have been able to grow, mature, and gain knowledge as to how to deal and interpret such things before it actually happens and has to be dealt with.

Probably positive aspects on your ascendant. I have similar experiencese like you, I was once gone as in watching my family think I'm dead. I was walking through walls trying to touch them. My ascendant lord Saturn is in 8th.
Ascendant lord plays a major role regarding your question since it is 'self'

I've seen it in myself, but I've not been shielded from the deaths of others.

I think i saw this topic before... I thought i answered it.

Oh well. I have Saturn in the 8th/9th house, depends which house system i use. I also have Saturn trine ASC. But it squares my Sun.

I'm so scared of dying at a young age.

Nope, I think that is a misconception. The 8H is the house of longevity and Saturn is the planet of longevity. So when those two are together specially when Saturn is strong (in your case, in its mooltrikon sign), that placement is usually a sign of long life, not short. Saturn in the 8H looks at the 10H, 2H and 5H, bringing a strong sense of responsibility towards career/public life, earned money and children. If those houses/their lords are afflicted or weak, Saturn can bring delays on those matters.

With Aquarius in the 8H, Capricorn is in the 7H, so the 8th and 7th lords are in the 8H. With those lords in the 8H:
*legal bonds (such as marriage/business partnerships) can get suddenly dissolved usually because the partner breaks the vows that were once made (some sort of betrayal is very common such as cheating or intimate unavailability). I've seen a few cases in which the partner married the person for financial reasons (joint ventures) as well;
*the 1st marriage often doesn't last long if it happens before the Saturn return (Saturn rules the 7H). However, the ability of self-transformation and spiritual development through relationships experiences is huge.
*a strong Saturn as the 8th lord in the 8H gives a prominent interest and disciplined inclination towards spirituality and its practices, occultism, research, healing and psychic abilities.

Well, that is what I am saying! It would certainly indicate a long life for me, but wondering if it would also limit my experiences with death until maybe after first saturn return? What would be the indicator that I would have no one around me dying?
