Ive read most vedic astrologers don't consider outter planets valid but some more credible astrologers do. How would one go about finding these placements?IP: Logged |

I think some Astrologers borrow idea/concept from Western Astrology and Add or Use with Vedic. But originally Vedic was not included with Outer Planets. I really have doubt if any Vedic Astrologer actually did his/her own research and added something of outer planets by his/her own.IP: Logged |

I think it's a great system in itself even without the outers.IP: Logged |

Even Krs states the use of them, even giving descriptions of placements... but how do we find their locations? is there a formula to use to transfer the coordinates because there's definitely no calculation tool on the internet for Vedic. IP: Logged |

Sidereal Astrology uses the Western planets and aspects, but against the backdrop of Constellations. . . . IP: Logged |

… Great analogy, Anony and not-far from the truth? There ARE many videos discussing this kind of minutia. (music) I Hear Them Calling ~~ (2 Pac & Eminem) [4:33] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyLy1CFRDls IP: Logged |

It is my own conclusion that since the effect of the outers absolutely is visible in the Western, shouldn't the Vedic astrologers also re-open its case instead of dismissing their influence as negligible coz...wait for it....."ancestors said so"....tsk tsk...ancestors my ass!!!!!!IP: Logged |

Just like western astrology has branches, like the 'traditional' Hellenistics who do NOT include outer planets, there are various Vedics/Hindu astrologers who are 'traditionalists' and others who adopt the outer planets in delineations. Depends on what they are looking for? Sometimes the inner-planets are for more 'everyday' kinds of things, rather than the expanded-consciousness related outer-planets. heh heh.. just wait for the inclusion of Trans-Neptunians!! THOSE are wild. Pluto was the intro to it, when they demoted Pluto as a planet. Turns out that the more some-people are becoming more awakened, those are being delineated, noting effects by 'resonance' ratios. Rings out, and bringing in-- more sophistication, music of the spheres... the mystical. How cool! (topic) High Flight (Poem By John Gillespie Magee, Jr, Read by James Kingdon) [1:00] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSZSJkhhhBQ quote Poem Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds, — and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of — wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov’ring there, I’ve chased the shouting wind along, and flung My eager craft through footless halls of air . . . Up, up the long, delirious burning blue I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace Where never lark, or ever eagle flew — And, while with silent, lifting mind I’ve trod The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God. unquote We have done this now with discoveries of a WIDER and more MAGNIFICENT view of the Universe than ever imagined. hmmm. Trans-Neptune.. Neptune, the planet of Imagination. IP: Logged |

^ Thanks for listening to it, Anony!! Since you 'expected' a SONG-- I had almost left this one. It's Beautiful, and the lyrics are based on some of the poetry lines. (music) Flight {The Higher We Fly} (John Denver, from the 1983 'It's About Time' album) [3:19] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gUvmB3Bg2I yt notes, quote "A very mellow, thought-provoking song about the unity people can feel if they reach towards a connection and relationship with one another."
