Since a winnowing basket and a hand fan are two symbols commonly associated with Purva Ashadha nakshatra, does this mean people like me with their moon in this nakshatra have a natural ability to make hand fans and winnowing baskets? I used to love making paper fans out of brighty colored craft paper as a kid. My current hobbies are all hobbies done with my hands: hand embroidery and sewing.

Interesting. I am also a sewer and hand embroiderer and I know Hasta’s symbol is the hand, but I have no planets in Hasta in my d1 or d9. I am a gemini lagna in my d1 and gemini rules hands, so maybe that’s why I love sewing and embroidering.
