I have and do care for and nurture my family for free. I have never recieved a paycheck for that ... Lucky for all of us it was a *labor of love* for me (as with any loving care giver) because if you don't count the hours you are asleep (although you are still *on call* then) it's about 100 hours a week.

I would probably do *any* job for free, if it was doing something I love - and I am committed to only doing things I love or enjoy doing as much as possible

I feel that if one possesses(sp?) a certain gift or gifts that one should give of themselves freely, and the universe will reward them correctly, if these gifts are given freely, and with love, expecting nothing in return. So many gifted beings in this day and age charge high monetary prices for such gifts that were given to them because they were "chosen" messengers with a higher calling-in whatever aspect or area. These gifts were given to them for free!!!
But then again there's always a price one has to pay for receiving these gifts.....
But I also believe that when you "pay" for something with your tears, sweat, and blood that it is more appreciated.

I guess I'd go and be one of Princess's kids! I'D HAPPILY DO THAT FOR FREE

Hee hee...

If that didn't work, I guess I would cook good food. I love cooking and always add a generous helping of Love. People love my cooking... even if it's just toast! I do it for free, now, and I would do it for free if it were my job!

Love and light, Jools xxx

Being a food critic sounds like ... potentially very delicious and surely fattening !

I've always wanted to be a *hotel critic*

Jools~ If you'll cook for me I'll let you call me *Mommy* !!

Jools...you're a taurus that loves to cook? YUMMY! I bet it is good.

I'd work in people's yards and gardens...in fact, I do for my 'aunt' in-law (actually she's my husband's ex wife's aunt...) and my sister-in-law who knows just how to con me into it.

Speaking of which....I got a new pair of garden gloves the other day. The BEST I have ever seen. Came from the kid's garden section (Bugs Bunny)...they are triple protected so kids won't get hurt. And a new purple pruner....

So today I doned my Bugs Bunny garden gloves, grabbed my purple pruner and prunned everything in site. ( Now why did the cats run ) And not one rose bush or prickly vine had a chance...not one scratch.

I would probably take care of all the homeless animals and probably go broke. Hey but I'd rather be broke and happy than rich and sad! LOL

Nephy...

Southside....something I noticed is that when you start doing what you love and really don't care about earning money, the UNI-verse opens up for you and the BLESSING FLOW!

I would give many hours of my time in research for causes that I would be personally interested in, and sharing the information I have learned with others. I love reading, learning and sharing it. I'm a philosopher at heart and love teaching/sharing what I have learned. I would cook for anyone that would appreciate it. I love to cook! I love 'molding/inspiring children's lives. Have two of my own. I would preach/pastor/teach the 'Good News/Jesus'to all that wanted to learn the deeper things. I would counsel people. I would work in a bookstore for free books! But the one thing I would not do is clean house (other than my own)for FREE! LOL

About 3 Sundays ago I got an inspiration for a Latin Tee design through talking with my friend Kevin, I couldn't stop and have produced 6 with graphics. I e-mailed them to a screen printer and he was very impressed, he has gone out of his way to help, I haven't even met him, just spoken to him on the phone. And then on Thursday, Kevin and I were discussing a UK Salsa website, and were talking about the Salsa Mafia (guys that are really good, have the best moves etc), and I decided I would design a Salsa Mafia Tee. We have the Mafia here in Christchurch; so last night there was a Latin Party where I work security, and I got asked if I wanted to work as a glassy, I said yes and wore my Salsa Mafia Tee that I got cut and printed on Friday...It sparked alot of interest and I have now begun to get orders for them, with certain variations. From something that started off as a comment, to just designing a Tee for my own pleasure now looks like it could become quite a good money earner. It wasn't my intention to make money off them but it is certainly heading in that direction.

Cheers Mambo

What a thought-provoking question. Hhhmmm...

Well, I try to love freely.

I am assistant editor to a literary magazine for free. So I get to make other peoples' dreams of being published come true b/c I get to email them and tell them they've been accepted - that's my favorite part.

I cry freely.

I laugh freely.

I sing and write freely.
