I will create and give away five free mandalas to the first five people that post to my thread. The purpose of this is that I feel it is time to use this as a means for financial support, but need to build a portfolio of personal intuitive mandalas for other people. Leave your username and email addy and I will contact you by email to find out where to send it. IP: Logged |

Well, true traditional mandala's have very strict guidelines about how they are constructed. Normally, they would be made in sand, with excrutiating detail so as to contemplate impermanace. However, intuitive Mandala's basically start off witht the geometrical shapes of circles (some squares, diamonds, etc) and work outward. As I do them I meditate on the person ..... and soon I find that 'I' amd lost ... and even I do not even fully realize what I have done until I need a break and step away from it. And I go ... wow .... how did that get in there, because so many things pop in that *I* never even intended .... and things just grow like that.I hope that makes sense. I just finished one this morning for my boss, I hope he likes it. It is a little weird My intuition told me that it was fine to charge for the mandala's a few weeks ago ... but I need to build my confidence a bit. However, something else came to me last night and I was told to do it free of charge and I am really really excited about it. I am not sure WHEN I would find time to do it, but I suppose I would make time. To create "vocational" collages for people .... free of charge. Actually, it reminds me of that womens idea in Simple Abundance who says to make a collage of your life and loves. I think the collages would help me more fully express to people WHAT and HOW I see them ...... I think I will start with myself (to keep me motivated ) and my brother ..... then, once I get the hang of it, I will do another thread for them, ok???

OSheen~ Much like YIVY feels after some of her LEXIS, I'm sure ! I can't wait to see your work I LOVE to make collage ... You are right, it is so expressive of one's sElf, it might even amaze one's sElf not to mention getting to rescue little pieces of art/nature/love/memory that otherwise might have been lost or forgotten ~Princess ------------------ ~We can try many ways to get rid of the darkness, but none is as effective as simply increasing the light.~ UnkNown IP: Logged |

POOH!!! I missed out as usual Seriously, Osheen, listen. Once I totally made up my mind that I would never charge for anything even remotely spiritual...even saying 'what the heck, the internal rewards are much better than money'. THE FLOOD GATES OPENED!!!!!! I feel the LEXIS are a 'gift' from the 'druids'. Besides I am just the conduit between 'them' and the one who needs the LEXI. You don't ask your water pipe how much it charges Osheen...I can see how much you have GROWN this past year. It may not seem like it to you, but I and others can see it clearly. You are becoming a POWER in this space/time reality. BE PROUD! You have accomplished quite a bit. And I for one am PROUD to know you ------------------

We are not allowed to put up emails? Uh oh, I have my telephone number somewhere YIVY~~~ Ah, well, you were are on my list of automatics anyway
I am excited to allow my "gifts" to grow. I think that the job thing is something that is giving me a great passion. There is something that I am missing though ..... like last night at work I was on the telephone and talking to a customer and I was thinking how bored I was with my job. Then a voice said "so use your job right now for something greater" and I somehow started to talk to this man about what he likes to do. I said, you like to fix things ... and was about to say mechanic but I felt he was more 'refined' so I said computers ... you like to fix computers. And he totally brightned up!!! I mean this man sounded so depressive, but when I said that he was ALIVE. "how did you know that" he asked me .... I just said it was in his voice and I think he was sooooooo happy, something to confirm that everything was going to be okay. I was soooooooo elated. I felt so good, like no matter what boring job I may appear to be doing, I can still do what I am made for And maybe I will become better at it with time .... I think it is confidence too, and knowing when a soul really wants to hear it. Sometimes they do not want to, I think. Actually, I used to think I was reading it but now I am wondering if maybe the persons soul just says to me "tell them to do this, because they just are not paying attention lately".
Maybe too as I grow into my own purpose I will be more helpfull. The collages should be lots of fun. IP: Logged |

YIVY~~~ also, this is yet another happy reason to have 'met' you. I always get upset that things are not free ... because if everyone was doing things they loved, they WOULD do it for free. Probably this is the whole reason why the bible says not to be a slave to money because it takes us away from God, but not because it is evil. I know that I am VERY passionate about 'informing, training, teaching, showing' and I would not only do it for free, I would PAY to do it. IP: Logged |

Osheen...I think you are right. If we just listen to our inner sELF who can talk to the inner sELF of another, we can sense what they are really asking or needing. But you have to LISTEN.I never thought money was evil. Just the obsessive way some people are with it. Oh, and you'll have to teach me to use a mandela ------------------
