Somehow he cannot quite grasp what it is he should go after in life. He is regularly confused about it and easily led off any path he does choose. He has had a terrible time of it financially as well (Saturn in the 8th in Cancer) and his North Node is in Sag in the 12th which is hard to figure out for me. Not so cut and dry as my NN in Capricorn in the First House! But really, I am trying to help guide him with some insight from astrology and recently I told him some things that rang so true to him that it opened him up and now he wants the information...which I cannot give him accurately enough. I would appreciate any info on this and would be willing to pay for someone who wanted to get into it deeply for him. Thanks so much. IP: Logged |

In recent past Lives, your brother was too focused on his own self-improvement. He was also very skeptical of anything metaphysical and/or religious. In this Lifetme, he chose to pursue higher knowledge, but for the betterment of humankind. He is here to cultivate faith and intuition. This NN House placement actually goes along well with Sag. The 12th House indicates sacrifice for others, but Sag channels that Energy into religion, metaphysics, and Spiritual pursuits. The more unselfish his motives are, the greater happiness he will attain. He may never be wealthy (although other aspects in the chart may indicate a propensity for money), but he can have an abundance of the things that truly matter--loyal friends, true Love, and even a few creature comforts. This is a very challenging NN placement; however, it can lead to the greatest satisfaction and sheer happiness if understood and followed. He will derive much Peace and comfort from Living near the ocean. This could be where his best ideas are born--while walking, sitting, or meditating on a beach. Any occupation in medicine, teaching, religion, or singing is highly favored. There is a talent for artistic expression and also for writing/publishing esoteric subjects. ------------------ "It is never too late to become what you might have been." George Eliot IP: Logged |

Randall,Thank you so much. You are an angel, so beautiful. Your reading is amazing, he connected with it immediately. I have noticed a change in him already...even by telephone. He got calmer and seems empowered with the knowledge as he explained that he actually had thoughts of doing things like this, but shrugged it off as ridiculous. I hope he is able to manifest what he wants. This is what I love about astrology... just to know potential and basic reasons for things is always helpful. Again, thanks so much. pearly IP: Logged |

Psychology is also a good choice. He must never condemn or criticize others. Giving is his Mission, and the more that he gives, the more he will have to give. He should consider volunteer work, or even a paid job in a nonprofit agency or charitable organization. If he works for such an agency as a volunteer, it can quickly lead to a paid position. He is a natural at helping others. Once he stops seeking money (which is contrary to what his Soul has chosen for this Lifetime), he will then have enough to sustain his needs and then some. This is the Highest and most majestic NN placement (12th House), and Sag complements it well. He shouldn't waste such a pure Energy. He is the perfect epitome of "one person can make a difference in the world." ------------------ "It is never too late to become what you might have been." George Eliot IP: Logged |

Technically, you just take the characteristics of the Sign in combination with the Ruler of the House. Sometimes they can contradict each other. But I also can give different readings for the same Placements (to an extent), because astrology is more art than science. Astrology is intuitive. ------------------ "He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love." Martin Luther King, Jr. IP: Logged |

In the Course, I will give basic NN interpretations, but each case is different, and one should "feel" a chart (something a computer can't do). ------------------ "He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love." Martin Luther King, Jr. IP: Logged |

Pearly, Can I ever identify with your brother. I've had so many problems in the job/career area and its gone on so long now I'm about ready to start selling pencils on the corner. Not funny I know and I'm really not joking. At 44 almost 45 years of age you'd think I'd have fiqured out what I want to be when I grow up. Hes not alone in this and I sure hope he finds something he loves to do. The worse part of this is my son seems to be having the same problem as me getting started and that makes me want to cry. Randall, I have the northnode in scorpio in the 10th house (also venus in scorp in the 10th and midheaven in scorpio in the 10th) could this have something to do with it? I have read that the 10th house has something to do with careers? IP: Logged |

Buddy, you should have success in your career, but later in Life. Don't fret too much. All your trials and tribulations are just to prepare you for your Labor of Love. Look within, and listen to your inner voice. Your newly-found religious beliefs can strengthen your Faith and help guide you to the right vocation. Most of society's greatest accomplishments were made by people well into their fifties and later--people who were rather mediocre until then! Colonel Sanders didn't open his first KFC (regardless of what one thinks of eating meat, you have to admire his success) until age 65! Hang tight. You'll figure it out. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Randall, Thank you so much, I really needed the encouragement. Now I'll just have to work on patience. You're a triple cardinal too, did you find it hard to work for someone else, better to be self employeed? Thanks again, You're Super IP: Logged |

Hi Pearly, Your brother sounds alot like my son. I talk and talk to him trying to get him to do something, anything! I might as well be talking to a tree (hes a scorpio). Me I just try and fail and try and fail and try and fail, its really tiring:0I really feel for you and your brother losing your parents so young. You really had to raise yourselves. I can't imagine how hard that must have been. You must be really strong people. The chart I got from the internet put my n/n in scorpio in the 10th house. I don't know I just took their word for it. Buddy, let me know (as some of your reading will change). Most of it will stay the same (Scorpio in the 10th). ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Hi Pearly, So true about Scorps (and I also have a scorpio Mom and Brother). Linda sure was smart. Even his favorite saying is "I'll decide". Its just very frustrating. He and you're brother sure do sound alike. Nothing motivates him at all. Hes only 20 so I guess hes still pretty young. I don't think I was too ambitious at 20 either About the job thing. I think the best idea is to work alone,on my own. I'm getting a start at that right now,not selling pencils tho. I'm rotten at sales. I've tried that already, too shy. That was a neat astrology site you had me check out but I still can't tell which it is, too technical for me. It says 9/10 so I guess its right at the end of 9? Or 10? Sounds like you have made the best decision you can with your brother. Maybe he'll get more responsible without you to depend on. Tho I'm sure not one to give advice in this area. Only understanding. I hope it all works out for both of you. IP: Logged |

Randall, I'm still confused. One site says n/n in 10. Other says 9/10. So I just don't know. Oh well. IP: Logged |
