QOS, you need to find a happy balance. Guilt is an awful feeling . Turn it around by k-nowing you are giving from your heart first and wallet second. juniperb IP: Logged |

The server analogy is a good one. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Thanks for bumping this, Randall!! I have been so poor that I didn't know what would happen, but I rarely stressed about it. I had/will have moments, sure.. but something always works out!! Maybe having this optimism alone is enough, but I believe there is more to it. The Universe answers.. even if you don't really ask. I have had similar experiences as Aphrodite... I lived in another town, away from my family, with a young son and a man I was thinking of leaving. It was quite a despondent time in my life, and I was wondering how I'd have enough money to get some supper, let alone little extras like a cheer me up coffee ( those things are necessary too, I think.. treats for the deserving soul) I crossed the street at an unusual place.. as I normally followed a pattern, and there was twenty dollars rolling gently by my feet in the wind. It practically landed on me! I sent up a thank you and bought some pasta!*and a coffee!* That stuff happens alot if you understand the signals, and I am always grateful!IP: Logged |

ha ha ....me too...i was one day, a blustery cold kind of day, out and about in a shopping center and so wanted one of those yummy coffee-house coffees....a nice smooth latte...but with very little money. not enough to justify that spent on a designer coffee drink....as i stepped from the storefront and into a huge bleak parking lot i looked across the street at the beckoning coffee cafe, and then, inadvertantly down at my feet, and right there lay a $5 note! (no one else around) immediately i traipsed across, bought a latte and left the remainder as a tip..... oh it was so delicious....and so was feeling the universe beating in rhythm with my heart that day!
