Sorry I haven't been around much I had five days straight of horrible morning sickness! But I know it is a very good sign! In response to all the ouch-y comments, I have had four babies in a hospital and one at home. The one I had at home was the only one that was needle-free! I hate needles! The contrax hurt whether I was home or in a hospital....but at home I can relax and I feel much safer. I'm thinking about giving birth in the water this time, water is so soothing.....------------------ "If I had two loaves of bread, I would sell one and buy hyacinths, for they would feed my soul."~~~Anonymous IP: Logged |

Yes, morning sickness is good for the developing fetus. Hope it gets better, though! ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

I've been sending you White Light to help you cope, Amethyst. Like you said, it's a good sign. Morning sickness removes toxins, so the fetus can be its healthiest. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." I have only one child.. gave birth to him at a birthing center so no needles and no drugs. He was 9 pounds. 16 hour labor and 3 hours of just pushing. I may never have kids again! heh! Really it was too traumatic for me.. it took me months to bond with Hunter. That's why I admire anyone that willingly does that again! I think it's awesome Certainly much stronger than I am!

Congratulations!! Yes, good ol' morning sickness - ain't it grand!! You poor thing - feeling like you want to chuck (throw-up) isn't the best of feelings. I would be interested to know more about home births. I had my little boy at a small private hospital (the staff were excellent. Had no dramas with them). I had a few complications with the labour, so how does it work if there is something wrong and you are at home?Love and Peace, Sunmeadow Glades. IP: Logged |
