an occupied 11th house also seems to indicate public related things - it signals the individual's need to be loved and appreciated (astrologicaly, if you're focused enough - read determined, obssesed etc - you get what you want).

Plus, it seems to say that the individual GETS the public's attention, has an audience, etc.

If the 5th house talks about the "love" you give (and some artists are all about giving to the world), the 11th is about the "love" you receive (and show-biz sure treats its stars with a load of that, sort-of

also, there's many who made it that have a 2nd house emphasis - poor self-esteem, thus the drive to do something about it, become bigger (overcompensate). A bit of a Pluto-Sun tension and maybe some Capricorn/Saturn into the mix and you have the drive for power and the ambition and sheer determination.

But there are no receipieces....

I think that the ones who "make-it" or get to the top etc are simply the ones who wanted it the most. They have no special qualities, they aren't super-human, they just really-really-really... waht something; and somehow what that is the case, the whole life energy is focused towards the goal...

I agree wholeheartedly to what you said. It just makes me happy knowing i have a bit of astrology on my side. But even if ihad the worst possible aspects in my chart i know i would still make it. But hey, i have saturn in 2nd house and pluto in first. Lol i think you mentioned something about saturn in 2nd?

I think that South Node indicates your precious life, and North Node indicates the lifes you have coming. Something like that.

So NN in Aries... your future lives/life/whatever will invlove a lot of leadership and action.

NN shows what you are to strive to do in this lifetime. So for instance NN Cancer is to be more loving, nurturing, intuitive "maternal" etc. (using the positive qualities of Cancer)while avoiding falling back into habit with the negative qualities of the SN --Capricorn or being too focused on business, workaholic, etc.
