I am an idea guy. I always have been. I have all these tremendous ideas, and I can think them out in great detail.

The problem I have is that I begin to lose interest or faith when I start working toward my vision(s). I feel like I could be a Richard Branson or something, but I feel like I have no experience/credibility to stand on to make people realize that I have the brains to pull these things off.

Am I just too untrusting of people? I mean, if I try and trust do you think people will come to trust in my plan and vision? I'm speaking primarily about people who don't know me (just to clarrify).

That sounds so gemini!! (I know you're a cap, but still!!)

What it sounds like to me is that you lose confidence in yourself rather than the idea and so don't pursue it any further. Universal support is impossible for any idea no matter how good, and if you are a green face in the industry (whatever area your idea falls under), you're probably not going to have truckloads of (financial at least) support from the big dogs... unless you can convince at least a couple of top honchos that you have what it takes. I'm sure this is nothing that you've never heard before, but ultimately, that's what it boils down to- getting just a few (even one staunch supporter) to help you kick off. Even if you can't get someone to stand with you on your idea, no biggie, start out by yourself, just start small and keep in mind that it might be a while before you see the results you know you are capable of bringing about. It's all a matter of sticking by your guns and not getting discouraged.
It's not that people don't trust you (or vice versa) but anyone's going to be leery of something new, you know? Why do you feel that you don't trust other people involved enough?

Start networking asap. Do you know anyone who knows anyone who's a name (or knows a name) in the field?

Whooo ok rambling post. I'll stop now. Not meaning to lecture or anything, and I have no idea if this is the sort of response you were looking for but yeah.

Peace.
Al

You post makes me wonder what your name & birthdate add up to.

I was just looking at the Numerology of one of my girlfriends the other day. Her birthdate adds up to 35 (which is the same as 26).

What made me think of this was part of the snippet I read about the #26 in Star Signs:

quote:
One must follow their own personal intuition and hunches, avoid partnerships and follow thier own path in their own career without listening to even well-intentioned advice from others.

Are you a 26/8?

Wow! Very Perceptive! I do believe that is in my Numerology somewhere. There's a site I was using for Numerology, but it keeps shutting down my [internet] browser.

I think it might be in my birthday, which is the day after Christmas, December 26, 1972.

If not, I'll tell you my name through email or something (acousticgod@sbcglobal.net).

Being that you were born on the 26th, I'd say it suits you. Your birthdate adds to 30/3. I think both numbers are applicable.

I was born on the 29th and my birthdate adds to 42 (which is the same as 24). I feel both numbers suit me well.

I like this site. The definitions are basically copied from Star Signs.

quote:
The most important of your numbers in the Chaldean Hebrew Kabala system is your birth DAY, such as if you were born on the 1st, 17th, 23rd, 31st, etc., day of any month. The reason for its importance is that this vibration is unchangeable, meaning that you can not legally change your day of birth. Thus, this vibration will stay with you throughout your lifetime. You have chosen this day on which to be born long before your actual birth. It is what your soul intended to experience.

So there you have it... stop listening to the advice of others. Don't second guess yourself. Run with your visions.

You should read the section in the above website about Karmic Numbers 4 & 8, if you don't already know about it.

Interesting that AcousticGod produces a 42, which is a very good number. I already had a thread discussing how terrible my name is under Numerology. It's a 38.

JupiterRulesSurely helped me and she suggested a really huge name change where I have four names. I'm not sure that I want four names. The first one is supposed to equal 33/6 as well, which is a tough number to come up with a name for. Anyway, I should figure this out before too long.
