You are very welcome..I know how hard it is..to continue to do the right thing..and have someone treat you this way..his actions..are from his insecurity..and lack of control over a situation..he still very much loves you..but also, as a possession..he doesn't know how to love..it's sad..I feel bad for all people..life is so hard..and often it's hard to understand..that we are actually learning and growing..and all of this craziness is for a reason..

How did you manage to get away? Guys like that don't usually just let you leave. If you'd rather not discuss this, I understand.

I guess I was fortunate enough to have a "childish" abuser who didn't have enough money or nerve to come to MN where my family is. Sounds like yours is very calculating.

You don't have to adopt a child. Just make space for children, where they could come even for a short time. Adoption is a bit like ownership. and going to the third world to do it is also a problem. I really like the concept of adopting adults, which you could do here until recently. I beleive they have now made it a crime, as they do with everything interesting.
