First of all, I hope the Aries New Moon/eclipse is treating you all well ~ for the past couple of weeks I've had more energy than I know what to do with. It's conjunct my Jupiter and opposing my Pluto in the eleventh.

Anyway, onto my post.. I found this on another site, posted by a woman named Frannie. She and her husband help to feed the homeless on a regular basis, and she posted this the other day:

quote:
Tonight on CBS news there was a story aired about the New York homeless community and the mail that they get. HUH? They get mail? They don’t have a home! You’re right, they don’t…but they do have Marylyn Rogers and the General Delivery letter office. There are over 7,500 homeless people that get mail through this general delivery office. Some because they are like you and I but are temporarily down on their luck and some just because they need to feel important, like the man in this goal, Ronald Crawford. The junkmail we are so quick to throw out, he actually looks forward to because somebody noticed him.
So with this goal I want to send him as many notes and cards as possible to let him know he’s not forgotten. Then if you want to send encouraging notes to others please do so!! They need to be loved and encouraged. If you want to read the entire story or watch the video please click on this link.

No time to read the article? Here’s the address:

Ronald A. Crawford
c/o General Delivery
390 Ninth Avenue
New York, New York 10001

and you do NOT have to include any of your personal information if you don’t wish to

I know there are a lot of great people here, so I thought I'd pass her message along, just in case anyone here might like to send something. There's no request for money, just a little card. I hope it's okay for me to post this here.
