Use the self hypnosis of "Compassionate Confidence" that you are NEEDED by the company to add value to them. Seek to add value because you like to do that rather than feeling that you need the job badly. Prepare for the interview questions thotoughly with this attitude only. Answer with a compassionate ENTHUSIASM about how thrilled you are to be able to get an opportunity to add to the profits of this company. This makes the interviewers feel foolish if they reject you, and nobody likes to feel foolish. Affirmation to use: "I DESERVE TO ADD VALUE TO XYZ COMPANY IN ABC POSITION" To relieve pre Interview stress and any nervousenss during the interview, use this self hypnosis: -------------------------------------------- You are wealthier than Bill Gates and you own this company. You want to display to your top employees who are the interviewers, what kind of a fresh employee they must hire from now on. You want to test them by the quality of the questions they ask. You also want to make sure they dont get nervous while asking questions. You want them to feel comfortable even though you are the boss. Whatever you answer is the right answer, because you are the BOSS. If they disagree fine, if they agree, fine. -------------------------------------------- After the interview, imagine that you have already got this job. With this feeling permeating your entire self, search for a bigger job so that you spiral your self esteem upwards to better realities.
Important Meditation: Visualize Navy Blue colour leaving your body and your Aura out thru the top of the head, away forever. This negative colour causes financial insecurities. Replace this by downloading Bright clear medium green colour into your body and Aura. What to prepare: Every little detail of the company. If you are psyching yourself as if you are the owner, you may as well live this self hypnosis thorughly. All products, stock price, ticker, head quarters, competitors, product strengths, weaknesses, what you can do to take it to the next level from any job position. Evaluate your own strengths and weaknesses objectively and say them honestly and fealressly. Develop an interest in a hobby that the interviewers will never suspect. Metal commodities for instance. Explain how you are fascinated by the price of gold and silver movements these past 2 years and your hobby is to learn about this phenomenon. IP: Logged |

lqhunk, This is awesome! I love your fresh approach, and "compassionate confidence" covers it nicely. I'll definitely be using this in my future job interviews -- and perhaps for the rest of my life. It's a great philosophy. Thanks for sharing. SkyG IP: Logged |

Hi SkyG,<<I'll definitely be using this in my future job interviews -- and perhaps for the rest of my life. It's a great philosophy. Thanks for sharing. SkyG>> I will be the happiest person in the world the day you and all those who read this land the dream job/pay raise you aim for by applying this philosophy in the most suitable way. What I wrote is the distilled essence of all that I have read, seen, done, analyzed and thought about regarding interviews, jobs and careers in the 8 years since graduation. I have more to write, I have to validate it thoroughly though. My very basic philosophy is that every human being is capable of earning 400-500% more in the long run than what he/she thinks is possible.

Thanks for posting this. I meant to tell you before that imagining the company needed me, and not the other way around, helped me relax during the interview. I got the job. ------------------ http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/6562/pchan_stockton.html IP: Logged |

Hi PChan Any sincere company would hire you just by reading what you have written. The interview should be a mere formality. I can spot genuine talent from miles and you have got loads of it. However, I am pleased as punch that you found the tips useful IP: Logged |
