Hello Everyone

I posted this on another forum (The wrong one I think - oops , so I was hoping someone would help me if I posted on the right one!

Thanks everyone for your help...

..."I was hoping someone could help me with some suggestions to help secure a good job?

As you may be aware, I’m studying for my Bachelor in Health Sciences - Naturopathy. This course is my dream, but it is so bloody expensive!! Each year I have to find upwards of $500 per subject – the whole course is nearly $25, 000.

This is my dream career, the only thing I want to do – but I have to save up & pay for it myself.

I try and stay positive, but I am finding it so hard to find a job that pays well enough to support me (rent, food etc.) AND pays enough so I can save towards this course.

At the moment I seem to be attracting enough work (40 hrs a week if I want it) – but I seem to be getting paid less and less. The job I was offered this week pays $10.50/hr!!! In other words – after tax, less than $400 per week (The AVERAGE weekly income in Australia is nearly triple that!!)

I’m not an idiot – I have a degree & two diplomas behind me, I present well, speak well, look good and I have been working since I was 12 - so I have plenty of experience in the workforce... but I just don’t seem to be able to secure a job that pays well.

WHAT CAN I DO TO CHANGE THIS???

For example, I applied for a job last week that would be perfect for me – making $1000 per week. Not only am I OVER-qualified for this position, but I’d be just down the road from my partner (we could have lunch together

I’d really LOVE this job – it would be mentally stimulating, enjoyable – and I could pay off my course in less than a year!!! (That would be FANTASTIC!!).

Can someone please offer me a suggestion on how I can improve my job situation? Any ideas on how I can secure this job??

I am SOO grateful to hear how anyone got out of a similar situation and how

Thank you

NEBEL

You must start by being "more aware of your surroundings" (Ras Al Ghul to Batman in the movie 'Batman Begins').

I have written 3 posts in this page which if applied will definitely enable you get the job of your dreams, especially when you are clear that you want a job that pays exactly 1000$ a week for now.

Tell me if you have read the articles, and then tell me:

1. Do you fantasize about a better job/life?
Fantasizing is a reality to your Soul and hence prevents the experience from actualizing into physical reality easily. Visualizing while retaining your awareness in the present moment will help you actualize the expereince into physical reality.

2. Do you speak about your plans to others? The more the number of ordinary people who know about your exact goals, the lesser the chance that you realize them.

3. What does your resume look like? What does it tell about you? Would you hire yourself for 1000 a week when you see your resume?

4. Do you have lots of navy blue or bright red clothing?

5. Will you happily give away 100$ a week and never care about doing so nor expect any good from it if you get 1000$ a week after taxes ?

Thank you Iqhunk for your reply

I have read your posts on this forum (They were very interesting thank you and I seem to be doing a lot of the actions you suggest.

For example:

Every night before I sleep I thank God for the abundance in my life, all that I find enjoyable and all that I want in advance (for example, thank you for my job that brings me $1000 a week).

I spend a lot of time visulizing as a way of improving my mood. I find if I fantasize and create a scene where I have got what I want, it makes me feel good

I also give away, as a matter of course, every $1 coin that enters my life. I try not to make it an exact amount - like 10% of my income or anything like that - becasue sometimes I don't have any set income.

to answer your questions:

I do speak about my plans to other people. i have read that this is both a positive and a negative thing. I thought that by speaking to those close to me about my dreams that they may come about quicker??

I have re-done my resume to highlight my skills in a more positive manner.

I don't own many red or navy things - I tend to wear green or purple clothing.

I look foward to your reply

Hi Nebel,
<<I find if I fantasize and create a scene where I have got what I want, it makes me feel good >>
Aaha! Sherlock Holmes has spotted the biggest problem
When you fantasize, your Soul gets the expereince and even the result. Hence you wont get the reality of the 1000$ a week job. There is a huge difference between fantasizing and visualization. Visualzation means you are aware of the present moment and imagine a happy situation without BEING IN THAT PLACE. You stay where you are and create the visualization. In fantasy, your consciousness moves into the created scene and loses touch with the physical reality here. Fantasy is like day dreaming and is a reality killer. 99% male masses fantasize about big muslces but very few become Huulk Hogans or Arnolds because Hulk and Arnold used to visualize about big muslces while working hard in the gym. They did not fantasize about it and get VICARIOUS satisfaction in a dreamland.

If I have confused you, tell me, I will try to clarify. The above knowledge is from years of suffering by me. I never got what I fantasized about. I always got what I visualized and felt the emotions of the event as if it already happened [without losing my sense of present moment awareness].

Ok, great that you wear green and purple. Just make sure they are bright and clear green and purple. Also get some gold, light pink and amethyst coloured clothes.

NEVER SPEAK ABOUT YOUR DREAMS AND GOALS. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER. Not even my father nor my fiancee knows of my most cherished goal. Nor will I say that this was my goal after attaining it. Let the energy for the goal accumukate and accumulate till it just has to occur in physical reality. And even then, do not rejoice, take it like a zen master so that more and more of the prosperity follows.

A billionaire when told by his assistant that he has made 7 million$ today barely bats an eyelid. He is neither unhappy nor happy but secretly sends his gratitude to God or the Universe. Then he completes his golf swing and goes for tea. Next day he makes another 10 million$ and he keeps being unemotional and detached about it. The enthusiasm is enjoyed only in the present moment activities to the fullest, not in reactions to happy or sad events.

A commoner would yell and leap for joy at 5000$ extra itself. That becomes his maximum limit because he lets go of the energy.

Here is a visualization for you. Visualize a $10000.00 pay check with your name. See it in your head clearly. Send it the emotion from your heart that you would feel if it were to be in your hands right now. Now write down the affirmations
"I earn $1000 a week from now"

Mentally stay in this state as if you have got the job. Now restart the job search and see the things click in the next few days or few weeks at most, without ever giving up hope or optimism.

Thank You Iqhunk for your time and help

For many years now I have believed that as long as I remained positive, did my affirmations and circulated my money (i.e. gave away a percentage of my income), that things would improve. I spent a lot of time reading inspirational material from people like Louise Hay, all the while trying to work on whatever it was that was ‘stopping’ me from achieving my goals.

I have worked very hard on improving my self-esteem, and a lot of other not so positive feelings such as unworthiness and my inability to accept.

This is not a whinge, merely an expression that I am aware that there is something not quite right, due to the circumstances in my life over the past 21 years.

To tell the truth, I am a little confused about the difference between‘visualization’ and ‘fantasizing’. Not in terms of what they are exactly, but the difference between how one does either and not the other. I would appreciate a further clarification if you don’t mind From my understanding, would a fantasy be a way of ‘improving your mood’ by ‘creating’ a scene or gratifying your soul with the feeling you would get from such a scene, whereas a visualization be a way of ’picturing’ that which you want without ‘creating’ something which doesn’t actually exist yet???

I am very confused about you saying that you should never share your dreams with another person. I’m not doubting you, I just thought that was what a fiancé’s job was!! (Having said that, I just mentioned that to my fiancé and he said he felt you are right. He feels that the build up of energy is what makes things happen for him).

Another thing is, I took another look at my wardrobe and noticed what colours I actually wear. In terms of proportions, I probably wear more earthy colours (Being a Taurus such as olive greens and browns, I also wear purple, burgundy and pink. To a lesser extent I own some orange and blue clothes, and I rarely if ever wear black, red or white.

I have also been repeating in my head this affirmation “I am (the name of the position I want) and I work with (the name of the organization I want to work with)”. Do you think this is a positive thing to say??

I’d like to thank you again for you time – you have helped me a lot already, and I hope to stop fantasizing soon

LOL

Looks like you are about to marry a very smart man . What more do you need ?

Affirmations and visualizations work in 3 weeks to 6 months once you start writing the goals down and focus on the reality you want.

Time to use the Nukes. I must look into your chart now. And pls mail me: tsaied@rediffmail.com, Also I have some e-books for you. You waited 21 years, so another 3-6 months does not matter. We are all eternal and immortal souls in any case!

Now about Visualization vis-a-vis Fantasy.

You got the effect of Fantasy correctly, it gratifies. Men fantasize for hours and hours, ultimately masturbating away their energy. Men and women fantasize daily about a holiday, wealth, fame. They get so lost in it that they almost live a parallel life there. Hence, they lose out in making their desire a reality in this physical plane.

Visualization is creating a picture or movie complete with sound inside your head without you taking part in the emotion of that scene.
This is very important. You can visualize yourself jumping for joy, you must infact feel the emotion of jumping for joy and mentally sened that emotional energy from your Solar Plexus and Heart to your brain as you visualize to give it more power.
Your consciousness however must not take part in the jumping scene whilst feeling the emotion.
This is a bit difficult to master but with a few days of practice you will get it.

Examples:
When a guy fantasizes about sex with a Playboy bunny, he gets an erection. That ends the chances, no way he can ever date a hot girl.
To actualize his desire, he must visualize his sex scene with the Playboy bunny without an erection, feel the thrill in his heart and send that energy
[using affirmaitons here also works, "I send the emotional energy of exhilaration to my visualization" ]to the scene in his head.
Next, the scene should be visualized as being surrounded in borwn colour and sent out through the crown of the head.
Then forget about this and not think of it for awhile and get on with mundane duties.
He will encounter a hotter girl in his life than ever before. It will take weeks for 100% actualization of desires but the seed has been sown. If he reverts to fantasy, then he can kiss his hard work goodbye and will have to restart.

Better Example:
Visualization is like playing a 3D game you built. Fantasy is like taking part in the 3D game while your body is outside the computer.

A few lovely things have happened over the last week - I believe things are starting to move.

I got a bit depressed a few days ago, but since then I really feel very good. Almost like I flushed out a lot of old thoughts and feelings.
