Sigh. I got my payslip from work today and it looks like they overpaid me, a LOT. What an amazing sudden windfall and I think to myself, is it because I've been giving money away that I got all this money coming to me today? But the money being paid to me looks like a mistake from the person who processes the wages, and to keep the extra money would be dishonest of me... so I emailed them to say I think they made a mistake... sigh. I hope I get some big karmic payoff for being honest about this! :-/IP: Logged |

Its strange when things like that happen isn't it? You wonder - should I keep it? Is it for me?I found a purse on the street yesterday and it had money in it but no ID. I wondered if it was for me (I've been spreading my money around a bit lately), but I decided that it would be 'honest' of me to hand it into the police. Maybe they will use the money to buy doghnuts for themselves or something Nebel OX IP: Logged |

Ohh yes it's a strange decision to have to make... we can only hope that it is all working out for the best!In my case, it worked out that I can keep the overpayment but have it taken out of my next fortnight's wages - which means that my next pay will be very meagre! Still, life so had it for me that I do have some extra expenses this week so I guess that if nothing else, the timing was good in the end! IP: Logged |
