I have worked with the poor and homeless in my town for years-it has been a constant battle with others who want to be involved in a charity but have anything but charitable intent. However what I have noticed over the years is this: when I get down and drag my s-elf through an emotional morass and feel self doubt, somebody I do not even recognize will walk up to me at the store or mall or street and usually kiss my cheek and say, "You don't remember me, do you?" Since I seldom knowingly let people get that close, yet did, I'll get a little nervous that I do not remember them. They will say," You are not aware of the gifts you give others but you give many." Then they will tell me something I aided them with that turned out to be a catalyst for something else that enabled them to better their life in some way. For instance a man came up to me at the Wal-Mart and said the above things. Then he reminded me of a time I went "through" the non-charitable charity workers objections and got him a belt, shirt, and black pants for a job. His family and he were on their last legs and the future looked dim. He credited me that he got the job which then led to a better position and got his family back on track because i went out of the way to help him. He said I do that a lot and need to realize it. This seems to always occur (different folks, of course) when I really doubt my s-elf value. The man in the example not only put my mind back in the right place, but he paid for an oil and lube job on my truck!
Another time it was a woman who said it was my belief in her capabilities that got her into college to be a teacher!The look on her face and her hug and kiss really fed my spirit. There are more-
So, do not doubt or wonder or even realize your giving, just give and much love and good sweet energy comes back again and again!
Do not plan on it coming back because it might take years or seconds just let it be natural!
Anybody else have this realization?

I've certainly had this realzation Tuxedo Meow. Over the years I have helped people and in turn I've found people-usually someone I have not helped-have helped me. It is a beautiful thing.(smile)
