Any updates on your list people?

Here's the ones I have done/am doing:
1) To have a happy home where friends are welcome, but to balance that with my need for solitude. - Moving house at the end of April to enable more friends to visit (current place in like Fort Knox).

4) To go on holiday, anywhere, by myself - Going to Barcelona on the 18th. Yay!

6) To one day have a mutually respectful and honest relationship with a funny sexy man who will buy me Joe's ice cream on Sundays - Bingo, I got an ice cream on Sunday and also a plastic flower from a graveyard rubbish bin, who says romance is dead?

7) To learn a trade like plumbing or carpentry - I learned how to use a drill on the weekend, small steps.

11)Spend more time with children - I'm moving in with my 7 year old niece. Can't wait.

NUMBER 2

Teach myself how to play Fur Elise on the piano.

Status: Doing it now! I learned the what-notes are what by putting a kids piano side by side with my grand piano, figured that part out! lol
Next i printed the sheet music, now I am memorizing the first part. Its soooo fun, I love playing the piano and I feel the music too, it sounds really nice. I'd love to complete the whole song.

I think my soul desires music in my life. I feel an affinity with sounds and I only just began to sing recently, properly I mean. haha...I didn't realise it came so naturally.

1. Travel to:
Mongolia, Peru, India, Greece, Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, Tunisia, Tanzania, Papua New Guniea, Bhutan. If I can do those ten countries, I will feel like I have seen enough of the world to satisfy me. I have seen 20 countries already. Not that I will stop traveling at 30 countries, but still have those ten must travel to countries for sure.

2. See more of "China" including Tibet, Taiwan and the north west desert (they should all be their own countries). Also see Inner Mongolia, which could even claim it is a separate country.

3. Find the sexy love of my life, ha

4. Music, music, find more and more to enjoy!

5. Out of the stone age, with my cd player, and get an mp3 player, doesn't have to be an i pod either.

6. More and more friends

7. Take lots of pictures and become better at it

8. exercise, do more sports. Kick ass at one sport, perhaps ping pong.

I need to try this again. Five years ago, just after my 29th birthday, I grabbed my new journal and made a list of 54 things that I wanted to do... now I can barely think of five things. It's ridiculous.

quote:
22. Die peacefully, silently, at home, with all my marbles.

I hope for this too. I've also always wanted a wrap-around porch, with a swing seat, a small table and armchairs, or rocking chairs, for company... knowing, and being friends with my neighbours, would be nice as well.

Great thread, how'd I miss this one..
Fortunately, I've gotten to do a great many things that I've dreamt of doing.. mostly what is left are things that require money.. like extensive travel. But, I'll try and conjure some up anyway.. hmmm...

*Learn Astrology! That would be good, and oh so helpful.
*Grow something useful, like some tomatoes or peppers.
*Finish learning sign language. Signing is so cool.
*Organize and finish scrapbooking my thousand or more photographs. I've got 5 books done so far.. good start
*Write The Thing. Whatever that Thing is that I can be remembered for.
*Find my brother that was adopted by someone else.
*Find my other brother that is now homeless.
*Read the classics. Ok, that sounds really good, but I probably won't do it.
*Start a side business making Halloween costumes and clothes for dogs.
*Get my tattoos touched up, and get one with my childrens names or something likewise meaningful on it.
*Swim with dolphins. This would of fallen under the extensive travel with money section, but I just found out that I can do this in Cincinatti, and it's not that expensive.
*Have a seance'
*Write a song
*Learn to play a musical instrument. (God help my neighbors.)

I'll add some more when I can think of them!
Thanks for the uplift. !
