Be patient love. Have you prepared yourself yet? like reading books etc.

I have been waiting for years....and I know my teacher will appear exactly when he/she needs to.

In the meantime do all you can to learn. If your intent and desire is sincere and pure you will send out those energies.

The secret is to realise and recognize your teacher.
Your teacher doesn t have to appear as a person, it could be a book or a situation. It could even be your worst enemy, and more often so.
For example, when I read Lindas Star signs, I completely fell in love with every word in the book and got the message, I was ready to listen. I have give this book to numorous friends, but none of them have even finished the book. They read it, but the words are empty for them, they don t comprehend it, they are not ready for the truths in this revealing book.
keep ypur eyes open and your teacher could be newt to you.

Thank u 4 all ur reply's. When i first picked up gooberz in a shop, called back 2 basics i only had eyes 4 it it stood out 2 me like no other book ever had. i'd already read Linda Goodmans star signs & sun signs &also some of love signs ,i even brought the book out at a wedding reception sun signs was a big hit as the sceptical were hard pressed 4 answers when i described them perfectly, even though 1 young girl said that the scorpio woman didnt describe her well at all that was the only real complaint i got. 1 person sugested that i read her the chapter on the scopio child as she was only13 years of age. NOw getting back 2 GOOBERZ this book intrigued me i went in2 the shop many times not 2 purcess the book but when some sort of fear, pain ,confusion ,or trouble in my love life ,id go in2 the shop ....ID OPEN a page at random thinking on what was bothering me at the time or what ever question i needed answering.. 2 my amazment the first 3 times i opened the book it was the same page every time now this was when i was with my first long time boyfriend & we were having troubles i wont recite the page just yet 2 U but if ud like me 2 i will when i get a reply 2 this . the many times in almost 1 year or more i would go & open a page at random EVERYtime it would give me the answers i needed sometimes they would bring me 2 tears as it was as if the book was a part of me growing as i was learning as i was. On my 19th birthday i finally brought my own copy of GOOOBERZ, i believed i wasnt ready until that time 2 posses it. This book has been taken from me i have been burgeled moved manytimes in very short years every time i lost GOOOBERZ which may have been at least 4 or 5 times it has been returned 2 me . many other possesions lost but 4 some unKNOWING reason it always came back a bit tattered & worn but complete. as this book can never be replaced by another copy not 4 me. Linda has been my GREATEST Teacher but i must confess i have become lost many times on the way & yern with all my heart 4 guidence. I still havnt finished GOOOBERZ. I KNow the day will come when i will b able 2 ...I started reading sta signs at 15 & have re read it many times also passed it on 2 many friends who find it hard 2 understand but i still try 2 talk 2 whoever will listen 2 the logic & no logic of the unKNOWn.

Another way is to become teacher yourself. Whatever you know teach\share with others.
Whatever you will give others will come back to you manifold. In your case knowledge.
Only just don't force anything on them.Then listen and analyse.
In Urdu we say 'Hand that gives is better than the hand that takes'.

Yes.Sometimes you also have to watch out for people who claim to know everything about you.

I knew a man who seemed very wise. He had vast knowlegde of astrology, tariots etc. He even helped people that were ill offering then alternative medicines and they were cured. I got suspicious of him when he could tell me things about my past and when I questioned him about it he stated that he just 'knew' that he could 'see things'. He also claimed that I would get ill and die at the age of 52!! That did it for me. How could HE predict such a thing!?!

After doing some investigating on this man I discovered that he was an ex boyfriend of my moms sister and she broke up with him because he was involved with black magic.All the things he knew about my past was because he knew my parents.

So do watch out and DON'T BELIEVE PEOPLE WHO CLAIM THEY KNOW WHEN YOU GOING TO DIE.

I found The Celestine Prophecy to be very basic, but it did bring a lot of newbies into the New Age. I must say, I did enjoy The Secret.

Reading this thread has been somewhat of an eye opener for me. I hadn't thought that the teacher could be an enemy. I kind of stumbled upon Linda Goodman's books as a result of meeting someone. That person started out as a friend and turned into an enemy. And I have had mixed feelings on this because while I believe wholeheartedly that they were meant to cross paths with me, I struggle with the fact that they are now my enemy. Maybe that was their purpose in my life. To open me up more to astrology and new age concepts. I also went over a decade without reading a single book front to back. In this past year I have read 2 of Linda's books and working on the third.
I was first introduced to astrology when I was 9 and while I was extremely fascinated with it, I didn't continue to learn. So this has been fun!
