OK
I don't know if this is taboo or not...
Since I am pretty much homebound....and needed an income...
I play poker and I use positive affirmations and logic, attracting wealth in games of chance.

I use "The Law of Attrasction" so I thought why not use it to increase my income. I do pretty well and it has paid some bills. I mostly play online, I do not have an addiction as I set limits and stick to them.

Has anyone else done this and how did it work for you?

I belong to a poker forum, pretty small, that offers free games that pay money if you win. They definatly need LL ideas of thinking! Mostly all logic about the game, but I believe it's more than that. Yes, you have to know a bit about poker, but I'm trying to express the connection between metaphysics and money.

However, I find that I am the only poster that talks about energy and money.

If anyone wants to post to the forum and play their free rolls, the web addy is
www.xfilespoker.com

Look for the forum index.

You may mention that Philbird sent you when you introduce yourself, I don't get anything it's just to let them know how you landed there.

I just thought I would put that out there.
Hope I don't offend anyone!
Mary

Sounds interesting but I am not a poker player.

my dad was an ace poker player, won WAY more than he lost; he insisted poker was NOT a game of chance, but of memory and character (he was an actor so that helped considerably). a boyfriend of mine figured out a system (again pretty purely numbers)that beat las vegas at blackjack...but we made him stop as soon as he'd proved his point, the rest of us just wanted to get out of dodge!

there are quite a lot of professional gamblers around from what i can tell. meaning they win most of the time.

Yes, my poker coach makes his living by playing, he's very good at math and a great actor! So, it's his job and not just gambling. I agree odds can be in your favor if you learn to read "TELLS", that's part of the acting, it's a bit different online because you can't see the ppl, but there are other ways to pick up "TELLS". Congrats to your Dad Katatonic!
Thanks for your replies!

of course believing you will win is a large part of it and the law of attraction is definitely at work in card games!! keep up the good research and "good luck"!XX
