Ha!
Here, pics of me:
Edited.
From a friend's wedding we were a part of back in August.
Side note: I've decided that saris ROCK as post-partum wear and that they should become mainstream wear in the US

When did you get so grown up and beautiful.. err... the girls I mean

What a charming adorable family you have. Looks like Zoe will look like oldest baby bird?

You are a gem for sharing them with us, thank you.

Oh and tink/shura shot me a note saying how gorgeous they & you are

I wanted to wait until I was back at my laptop to respond.

Pecking at my phone can get frustrating

Thanks

I still feel very poofy and postpartum, so yours and Tink's words are appreciated. I still don't usually wear make-up, but the beautician there for the bridal party said, "I don't care if you don't usually wear it - this is an Indian wedding and you have to!"
It did make me feel quite fancy, and even've ordered some to wear...though knowing me it'll only be on special occasions.

They sure are growing up!
M-- just started an G/T program at school, so she's had much more homework. C-- just started Kindergarten and... [taking a break from writing because Z-- needs a diaper]...[and now to feed her - growth spurt]...where was I?
C-- loves Kindergarten.
She even asked if we could invite her teacher over to play guitar.
They're both great kids. M-- (Taurus Sun, Gemini Moon, Leo Asc) is quick-witted and has become something of a "little Mom" to her sisters. C-- (Taurus Sun, Pisces Moon, Saggie Asc) is bright and a total cut-up. She's all goofiness and slapstick.

Z-- the cuddliest baby yet (and that's with two Tauruses) and her Virgo Rising already shines through. She *will not* tolerate a dirty diaper. I'll sometimes try to give a her a minute or two to finish up, and she glares at me, sticks out her bottom lip, and screams a definite, "WAH!" (Leo Merc? )
Re: How she'll look: She looks /just like/ my husband. If nothing else, I sort of hope she ends up with his hair:
Edited

I'd better get back to it.
F's travelling, and there're lunches to pack and a video game that's not going to play itself.
(What? It's release day and it'll just be for a bit now that Z--'s asleep )

Edited

I know!
Only one more month

She's already walking everywhere and talking up a storm.

We took an inventory of her words so far and came up with this list:

Dada/Dad
Mama
Book (Bouk)
Hi
Bye
Cate
Dog (Dœg)
Chicken (Chichken)
Monkey
Baby (Bebee)
Kiss (Kess)
Bunk (our curse word substitute)

There are a few others, but they haven't been consistent enough to count.

She even combines words into small phrases
"Hi, Dad!"
"Bye, Cate!"
"Hi, Chickens!"
"Baby Book!"
etc.

^ She's wild about the chickens, always goes up to them and tries to give them blades of grass.
She recoils as soon as they actually get close, though - she was pecked once and hasn't gotten over it.

New words: Bus and Look!
