How someone ascendant can affect labors of love?Though I am a Virgo and my profession is a software engineer. I enjoy fixing things, I can easily spot problems like a detective. I like to work on my own, though sometimes I start teaching what to do and how to do to my colleagues. That part is not taken positive.

For example, I have a Virgo ASC. So, that gives me an eye for detail, making such professions great for me, or allowing me to use this skill in my daily life.------------------

Actually I started re-reading Star Signs book from beginning.

Then being Sagi as my ascendant, I need my freedom, speak truth and sometimes speak within a meeting in front of everyone which is not a good habit(need to work on it). I like my work if it has challenges. I like gambling too that means stock investment already have suffered huge losses due to this. I love going to Las Vegas.

i have a Pluto Leo Ascendent in the 1st house but had always charted it at a different birthtime that made it 12th house...but quite close in degrees actually. I am a natural healer and medium and a few other things-
The Leo gives me presence, moxie, and the ability to come into contact with virtual strangers and lay hands on them in places and they somehow heal.
I am a Pisces Sun who would probably not do this without the Leo ascendant.IP: Logged |

I would think Scorpio ASC would be an excellent psychologist (depending on other planets, aspects).My brother-in-law is a Certified Public Accountant, and now he's working with high net worth individuals. He has a Virgo Sun, which helps with details, but the Scorpio ASC is the "other's finances" that is so associated with Pluto/8th House. Any occupation that has them digging, prying (into other people's business LOL), IMO. IP: Logged |

Cap ASC with Neptune conjunct ASC in the 1st house. Currently an assistant and very competent with administration. Had thought about majoring in business, but my true passion is in psychology, possibly with life coaching/ counseling. I wonder if my Gemini Sun and Mercury in the 6th house, as well as Cap Mars in 1st house opposite Cancer Venus in 7th have a strong influence on this desire.IP: Logged |

I want to be a psychologist too! But probably more in the area of organizational psychology (psyh/business combo? XD) I also had thoughts about biology since working in a quiet and interesting lab invironment is also good for me, but no work in field :/
