How, just by looking at these, the imagination just takes off! Even as an adult, I want to play with them, I could almost feel myself going into my little world with them.

Not only are they beautiful and well crafted, they have a very pure quality about them, so much nicer than the ugly plastic dolls with too many horrid facial features we see today.

I love these felt dolls... they were certainly a labor of love to create, that's obvious.

And these, are just wow! I hope to save up to buy one, they are not cheap, nor should they be, with all the work gone into it, and I bet they would last more than a few lifetimes.

I guess to each their own.
Just stating my opinion;
but those would give me nightmares.
Not kidding.
"shudder".
Isn't it strange how different people can see things in a totally different light?
Cabbage Patch dolls also creeped me out.
I think it has to do with bad childhood incidents
which included such handmade dolls
as these kinds you love.
For me they evoke awful scary feelings.
"shudder" again.

It is mainly the faces that weird me out, and the angel one and the rag doll ones.
"shudder"
The "bodies" of the pregnant one and one with baby, I kinda actually like.
If they had better faces they might not be creepy to me.

Well thanks for sharing because that is the first I have heard that kind of feedback.

To me the they invoke the feelings of happy childhood memories and warmth.

I never liked the cabbage patch either, but I find these soothing.

I had bad dreams about those ugly plastic barbie doll things when I was kid, I had all sorts of dolls (not these- though I wish!)

As a little child I had bad dreams about "faceless" dolls and people;
and rag dolls trying to smother me.

Oh yeah, bad dreams about other types of dolls too.

What are the rag dolls (with faces) called?

If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device.
Please excuse all outrageous typos and confusing auto-corrects.
