So many changes in your life in the past year. Your business, the baby, your mom's condition, your client relocating.

And, it's Your Birthday....... ?

I am touched by what you said about the relationship between your mother and your son. I also detect that sadness there as you process your losses, and make adjustments in your life.

The most important business in the world is your being there for people who are going to need all the love and dedication you can give.

So for today, I'm soooo glad you posted -- including the Santa on my thread!! I liked that!

AND Happy Birthday, Scorpio17!!

May You Find Days that will be Happy and Bright....within your Heart this year.

Yes, Holidays are Wonderful... Looking forward to them very much. So Beautiful and Lifting.

Thank you for the early birthday wishes. I had a lovely one.

My mother's boyfriend (a sun cancer) He loves going out for dinner en lunches etc. So he invited me for a birthday day lunch, which was lovely. The restaurant is near a lake, the view is very nice. It's hard not to look at a cellphone these days when your in company buth here it's even harder not to dream away because of the water view.
A friend of my organised a lunch with the remark "unplugged", which means no social media please during dinner. I didn't know unplugged meant that. i thought it was a good thing. not texting under the table....

The gift I gave for my self was a day off from work.

And I got a Nespresso coffemachine...So coffee and cake for everyone here...Imagine.

ScorpioSun - are you still accepting new clients? I'm a US expat living in the Netherlands and I need help with my US taxes this year (because I received money over the 10k mark last year and so there is so much to file I think?). I have a tax dude for the Dutch stuff. I'm otherwise up-to-date on my US taxes as far as I know! I've been living abroad for some time now.

Thanks for remembering my health?
I live in a (painful) *sonic soup* ....
Headaches are chronic and everyday-RAW now....

I TRY to Always STAY in Good Spirits...

Sonics these days are even tougher--- since my roommate retired beginning this month.

He also has RE-COMMANDED the use of HIS computer here, during (what used to be) MY Prime times for inspirational writing and study. (We live in a very tiny apartment, and are NOT romantically tied. We are detached-strangers who have been living in same small space for over ten-years. There is NO future to this acquaintanceship/ sorta-semi-friendship.)

I volunteer out in the community.
There are not too many jobs I can do, now that I have this health-condition that limits the what-and-where's of Belongings.

I think a part of me has just 'given up hope' now--- Perhaps that the reality of my circumstances (with govt too), were just TOO overwhelmingly stacked-against me, in an exclusively 'gotta do it by yourself' or you PERISH kind of world. LOL.

Doing the Best I can.... Still magically believing that either a Fairy-Godmother shows up at my door with a Moving Truck and a GREAT Place to stay, WITH a Trust Fund??? or that Jesus will mercifully Take me OUT of my Birthday-suit (body) to bring me to a Heavenly Home... that has no more Pain or Crying.

Hello...after the numb.

No second baby yet....And it seems like everybody around me is getting seconds one...and I am like hey that was my idea...! maybe the big boss above has his reasons.

For the new year I m looking for and writing things I like.
So I love my pink tulip spring flowers on the table and my new pink I phone cover and the singer Pink.

So the color is pink at the mo.

Work still no news who's out and to where our team is going to be moved. Unfortunately they have the plan for moving us to the south of Netherlands a town called Tilburg. And now we work in Leiden. That mains more travel time. Am i willing to do that for my shop or am looking for new work closer to home? The good thing about my job is that I can work at home for 2 days. So another job won't have that possibility...

How you are doing in the new year?
