Do an Internet search on Cripple Creek, and check out the tourist attractions! This place is great!

I think few people (other than the townsfolk) knew about Tesla being there before Linda took residence in his house.------------------

Great idea! Or at least some of us could meet there! It is very inexpensive. The air is thin being so high above sea level, and it's actually warm in the summer. I'm not much of a gambler, but they have casinos.  ------------------

PLEASE ALL OF YOU DO COME AND VISIT CRIPPLE CREEK! Will have my Hand and Heart Open for ANYthing We Should Need for the Stay and Sharing! Can help you ahead of time..Naturally of Course! Get Us some GROUP Discounts too! Of course You'll experience for your sElf the Places that Linda inhabited, BEfore she Moved on.... Know this..Tesla was here..he managed to do a great deal of work Nearby in the Mtns..and then of course, he was in CoSprings..and then of course Everyone Knows he was IN NYC after the while..trying to collect back his losses for One, and the other moving Forward..IF he ONLY knew NOW what he Did not re-member then....ah, that was then and this is NOW and they ALL Work Together Someway and Somehow!

I've been to Cripple Creek on many many occasion's, mostly to gamble. It wasn't until I read Linda's book "Star Signs" that I realized she once lived there and after I read her book I started to have different feelings about Cripple Creek. Now all of the gambling saddens me. I have often wondered if Linda was disappointed by the casino's all up and down main street. Believe me there are a lot of them! Once I read her book I started to visit not to gamble but to somehow feel close to her and the incredible energy that inhabits the town. I started to read "Star Signs" for the second time and found something you might all find interesting. In her book she talk's of the old-timers persistent predictions that the price of gold will rise to an all time high by the late 1980s or early 1990s, making the mining of it economically feasible once again-is more then just wishful thinking. She say's "I have a hunch that it's more" She goes on to say "If the district should become, during the approaching 1990s the stage for an encore of the gold mystique drama, there will be a regrettable difference. The lead players won't be riding out on horseback to stake there claims, followed by there stubborn but patient burros, backpacked with bundles of colorful dreams. They'll be riding to their conglomerate-controlled domains in jeeps and pickup trucks." (pg.93) I am wondering if this prediction was not of gold but of the casino's which opened up in the late 80s early 90s . I guess in a way it is the same thing. People are driving there jeep's and pickup trucks to the "Bowl of gold" in search of striking it rich. When she say's there will be a "regrettable difference" I wonder if maybe she and other's weren't so happy to have the gambling come to this little town no matter how much it helps economically. She was right when she said Cripple Creek is highly charged and fairly quivering with intense vibrations-of a mixed sort. You can feel the vibrations and intense energy intensify with each twist and turn of the winding rode the closer you get to this little town. IP: Logged |
