When I went to Cripple Creek a couple of months ago, I went to the first house she lived in that is now a little b&b/inn and I talked to the current owner and she said that when Linda moved out to move across town she left a lot of her stuff there, such as her Peter Pan collectables and Alice in Wonderland stuff, and even some of her manuscripts. Does anyone know why she left this stuff there?

How sad...

On another note, I would give a nickle to see who finally gets them

Did you get to see any of the stuff, Luna???

Well, one of the rooms is the Goodman room, and its decorated with stuff that Linda left, and has a picture of her on the wall. Then there's the hallway, which is decorated with Alice in wonderland stuff and Peter Pan and a big collage. I didn't ask to see the manuscripts or anything. But she also left all her crystals in the windows, and when we went to look at the second house she lived in it had all the crystals too, and the stained glass and everything. It was awesome.

Luna,
Yes, I was there too. Wasn't it amazing adventure and privilige to see the B&B? I wish I had really memorized everything I saw, like taken a picture wtih my mind. I have some pictures, but not nearly enough. WAsn't the owner a doll? She was so superbly nice. I especially loved the crystals on the bathroom windows. I could imagine Love and Peace playing with the rainbow-reflected light.
The sweet angel of an owner also told me that she had left her stuffed lion...

Love

yes, if ANY of you Knowflakes out there have pics of Cripple Creek or anything Linda-esque, i'm sure we'd *all* love you to death if you published them to the web somewhere for sharing. And if you can't or don't know how to do that, send 'em to meercatt@hotmail.com and i'll get em up.

i also have to wonder how many of us have seriously considered the 'pilgrimage' to Cripple Creek... ? i know i'll go someday, when i can afford it (one of my long-term goals is to build my dream house somewhere in the Colorado mountains), but i know it won't be the same without Linda's vibrations adding to the mix

and before you say it, yes, i know her vibrations are still there... but not a constant supply of the fresh ones

Meercatt, I have tons of pictures, but I don't even have a scanner or anything. (I don't even have a computer, I come to my friends house to come to this wonderful sight.) But I'll send copies to anyone willing to give me their address to send them to who has the equipment to do it. My e-mail is mrbsports@cs.com

Lunacrab:

Was the Sarsaparilla Ice Cream Parlor still there? If not, did you visit the building anyway? The story of Maggie is one of my favorites.....

Thanks Princess, I'll get them out as soon as possible. It might take a couple of days. Meercatt, I hope you get them too. SculltItsMe, No the ice cream parlor wasn't there anymore . It's now a Casino and Restraunt. The bartender told me quite a few different things about the building though. So the second floor was the Casino, and I wanted to look at the third floor because that was where Maggie hung out. But it was offices up there. So we snuck up there anyway, with security cameras shining on us, and looked around where we could, but between the cameras and an occupied office with the door wide open. The room I think was still mostly the ballroom, that the bartender told me there was still a bunch of stuff from the parlor in, was locked, but it was still pretty cool. I took pictures of that too. And the resturaunt is named Maggies. It was cool!

I'm not sure, we didn't eat, we just sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks. But there was a pretty good amount of people waiting to be seated, so I'm assuming it was good. I'll eat there next time I go and let you know though. It will be soon. I don't think I can stay away for long.

Hello, Friends!
I just all these posts about Cripple Creek, and Linda... I'm still working on Gooberz, so there is still alot I haven't read.
All this makes me want to go to Cripple Creek so bad! I wonder, really wonder, what kept seeker and I from going there this last summer???
Any way, I am more determined to make it next summer! I think I'll stay away in the winter... I am not a snow person, even though I live in SLC, Ut, and have to deal with snow every year, any way!!!
As I am very unhappy about the Olympics coming here, I am ordaining that SLC has a very snow free winter! *is that bad?*
Peace and Light,
Infinity...
