Heh, heh. I agree 100%. The Money Mystique is just a concrete example of the Law of Love: to get it, give it! I do think the Money Mystique works, although what you give doesn't necessarily come back to you in cash. But something of equal or greater value will always come back to you when you give, that's the nature of the Universe. The thing is, if you try to use it as a "technique," then what you are doing is not giving: rather you are investing, with the expectation of a large return on investment! That makes it a business proposition rather than an exercise of generosity, not the same thing at all. The only good reason for giving is that you're able to and want to, as an expression of love and caring. I do believe with all my heart that such giving always returns to the giver manyfold, in blessings of one form or another. But God/dess does have a sense of humor as well as justice, and goodness knows that what we need isn't always what we think we need at the time! Love, Greg IP: Logged |

Nice inputs, Princess and VR! Gregory, about the subject of money in particular, I would like to disagree a bit ~ about the "investment" part. Linda herself did not discourage this. In Gooberz, Linda recalls Robert Brewer giving away to "tapped-out strangers", who asked for a dime ... she and Robert used to tell them, "If you need more, just give half of it away" So, Linda never said it was wrong to give away money with the expectation that it would come back multiplied. Moreover, now that we are aware of the way the Money Mystique law works, it is but natural that one will think of rewards while doing any giving. I feel the key is to be aware of the law (since we can't avoid it), but to base our giving in real love. Well, this is the best I could explain my thoughts at this time. I hope it's not too confusing What do fellow kNOWflakes think of this ~ can we use the Money Mystique law in a delibrate way?

Many subtleties here, Elohim. To the extent that awareness of the money mystique makes us unafraid to be generous, then certainly it's a good thing ... and I'm sure that's why Linda told us (and "tapped out strangers") about it! But again, as you stated so well, giving has to be based on real love, else it is not generosity but acquisitiveness. That's my experience, anyway.Since we DO know the money mystique, how can we be sure what our real motivations are? Well, our reaction when we give and then DON'T receive (in a recognizable or timely way) is a good clue -- if we think "no matter, the Universe is unfolding as it should whether I understand it or not" then we probably are on the right track. But if we think "hey, no fair! I gave and it didn't come back to me!" then I'd say our motives are suspect. IMHO, of course! Love, Greg

Greg, your posts are always so straightforward and precise. I admire that! Have to say that I agree with your summation of the Money Mistique.IP: Logged |

I personally feel that the biggest hinderance to money is guilt! Why is it so many feel guilty about having lots of money? It's like some think they really don't deserve it...and so create a 'barrier' to the green energy. The Uni-verse doesn't care one way or another....if you ORDAIN money and quit putting up barriers..then the Uni-verse will provide. But if you ORDAIN money, then send the Uni-verse a mixed signal by secretly thinking you don't deserve it...well, what do you think? ------------------

The Uni-verse is soooooo abundant. Just look at how many seeds are produced before a single plant takes root. Same with sperm. Does that mean the Uni-verse is wasteful? Not at all. It is limitless and abundant. We are only limited by our thoughts. All of us suffer poverty consciousness in some measure--even Bill Gates. It's just a human condition and dis-ease. ------------------ "It is never too late to become what you might have been." George Eliot IP: Logged |

Like Linda, I REALLY recommend this book that explains the money mystique, and how to tap into it. It's got great suggestions for affirmations, how to cope with the apprehensive feelings and worries, opening yourself up to abundance, what you may be doing that is actually blocking your progress, boosters and the whole theory of the Law of Karma and the Law of Grace. And there's a lot more than just money - love, happiness, health, and perfect self-expression. http://www.spiritsite.com/writing/floshi/part1.shtml IP: Logged |

What VR said!Look what I found there, "Nothing stands between man and his highest ideals and every desire of his heart, but doubt and fear. When man can "wish without worrying," every desire will be instantly fulfilled." I have no more questions about this topic. Thanks, Pisces Moon! ------------------ Love and Light. IP: Logged |

I believe in Star Signs, Linda recommends Investing money as one way of fulfulling the flowing of money. Giving money, of course, would be included alongside the investing for those who choose. Giving the money would probably be the most beneficial spiritually, but the laws of the universe don't discriminate IP: Logged |
