Hello to everyone, I am reading Gooberz right now... Just finished Star Signs.. The part about being a fruititarian scares the hell out of me... I don't know a whole lot about diabetes but I do know if you eat TOO much fruit it can either cause it or raise your blood sugar very HIGH.Almost everyone in my family and my husbands family suffers from this illness. I don't know if any one will agree with this but I know Doctors do... So please be care-full an all fruit diet is NOT good. Please forgive the spelling if there are any mistakes... Not my best subject!! But I do well enough that you will know what I am talking about. TE-HE-HA-HA (laughing at myself) IP: Logged |

If a person eats only sweet fruits like apples and plums that might happen. If the diet is balanced with fruits that aren't sweet like tomatoes and cucumbers I think it's safe.

Hi, everyone! I was wondering how much time it should take to become a fruitarian since I'm a vegetarian and have been since I was born. I eat eggs sometimes. Linda, in her Star Signs, gives a fifteen year period broken down into three five-year perids for people who eat meat. And she said that fifteen is the number it should take to become a fruitarian. So what should I do exactly?? How do I break the fifteen-year time period to meet my needs? IP: Logged |

i think too many farts my be a good indicator. if you are farting way too much, it might be a good thing, meaning the acid in the fruit is breaking up the impacted material in your intestines. but then again it might not be so good especially if they are really stinky ones.i don't know if you can break it up to aker it suit you but it MIGHT be possible with time and research. i think lots of fruit is way better than lots of meat. on another, Neptunian level: is beer fruit?

LOL I don't know what to say but this is an interesting thread Many people don't know that things like tomatoes and eggplants and chili peppers are fruits. I could never eat solely fruits. I do not think it is healthy to restrict one's diet that way. But nothing against LInda! I have much respect for her and her views. ------------------ Food is the only art that nourishes! IP: Logged |
