Hi everyone,

Going through some of my research and writings I found this article about Linda I kept from PARADE magazine (written 3 1/2 months after she "left"). Well, it may not be a magazine, it's like one of those weekly things thrown into the USA Today I think. Anyway... I have found, over the "years", that sometimes the truth slips out in little places you wouldn't expect them too... and "later" down the road when information comes out that opposes that truth, you wonder...

What am I talking about? Just read the article below... tell me what you think. It reminds me of a soap opera where the writers have a storyline they go with, tell you all this stuff... then 5 years down the road, the storyline has wholes in it, nothing "adds up"... it changes from the original intended version and the writers "hope" the viewer has forgotten and will beleive the "now" story...

The article:

PARADE - February 4th, 1996

Question:
I was saddened to hear of the death of astrologer Linda Goodman. Did she finish the book she was working on? -- P.B., San Diego, Calif.

Answer:
Linda Goodman spent her last days in seclusion in her 10,000-square-foot home in Colorado, where she died in October at age 70 of complications from diabetes. She finished working on "Twelfth Night Secrets," but no publication date has been set at this writing. Goodman left other material that also may be published one day. Her 1968 work "Sun Signs" was the first astrology books to make "The New York Times" best-seller list. She followed it with "Linda Goodman's Love Signs" in 1978, "Star Signs" in 1988 and a novel, "Gooberz, " in 1989. Along the way, she founded a religion called Mannu, based on the teachings of St. Francis of Assisi and Native American beliefs.

-Linda doesn't let you down, not even when she's dead. Maybe in a couple of years!

The "other material" is in the hands of Kathleen McGowan and Crystal Bush, and Crystal threw Greg Ellison a few bones too.

Mannu was Linda's conception of a spiritual path based primarily on a blend of Native American spirituality and the teachings of St. Francis of Assisi. I haven't found anything more on it, yet no doubt there are folks out there who take that path...just gotta find some here's a St. Francis link...
