This is my first posting here, so a warm hello to all of you!

I would like to start a discussion on crystals, about how their energy compliments or helps the teachings of Linda.
Linda did mention crystals in star signs, though not to a great detail. Is anyone of you out there into crystals? Would love to hear from ya!

Are you male or female, and will you tell us your sign? Just wondering And why "108"? Kind of interesting

About crystals & Linda...hmmm...let the others answer, I'd have to look into it, and not much time this morning

I¡¦m a male Capricorn, with my moon in Leo and a Leo ascendant (not a combination that I get enthusiastic about, I¡¦m afraid. ). The weather over here is cool and breezy now, which originally is nice if not for the few recent spells of drizzle.

About 108 ¡K well, actually I was going to pick Invisible Jet as my nick, since I¡¦m such a fan of wonder woman. But then when I was registering I happened to be not at home, and I forgot the numerical value of J. Without a copy of Star Signs that I could reach for, I thought I shouldn¡¦t take the risk of picking a ¡§bad nick¡¨. And I would so much like to join this site on the 1st of Dec (of BOTH hong and the States), so instead of waiting until I got home, I decided to pick another nick. Two numbers popped up in my mind, 384 and 108. 384 is supposed to be a magic number, though how and why, I¡¦m not so sure. I only know that it¡¦s used in one form of fortune telling here.

And for 108 ¡K hmm, how should I put it. I¡¦ve always known that there¡¦s some sort of metaphysical significance to it. I think (but I¡¦m sure) there¡¦re 108 special stars in Chinese astrology, and that one of the systems of Chinese astrology (don¡¦t know what it is in English, but translated it¡¦s called something like ¡§purple star astrology¡¨, with purple star meaning ¡§the emperor¡¦s star¡¨) involves 108 stars when calculating a birth chart. But frankly, I didn¡¦t take all these into account when I decided to go for this name/number. It just felt right, though given a second chance, I¡¦d have picked Invisible Jet, now that I know it adds up to 10. ƒº

On a side note, after having read your reply, I tried to find out more about 108. I found that it¡¦s the holy number of the goddess. And that it represents creation and the universe. Thanks Carlo, if not for your asking, I wouldn¡¦t have found out about this.

Since the thread is about crystals, I think I should mention something related to the subject. While I¡¦ve used crystals for meditation and healing, I¡¦ve also tried using them with Linda¡¦s color diet. When I was taking the red color bath, I placed several crystals on my charkas, in an attempt to amplify the effect of the red power. The reason was partly because I wanted to see results quicker, and partly because I was only able to locate a 40w red bulb, and I was trying to use crystals to ¡§make up the difference¡¨. The result was only successful to a limited extent ( meaning I did lose some weight, but not as much as I had wanted to, and also not permanently), and the last time I tried it was more than a year ago.
