Ok first I find this quote..."I'm not in the habit of wearing watches, because I don't believe in time," Linda said in an interview in the Los Angeles Times. "There is no such thing as time. Time is an illusion. But one has to deal with the false reality of it on Earth." and I think...you know, I havent worn a watch since December, when the battery in mine died and I never got a new one...when people ask me about it I say this "I don't need time to tell me where I've been or where I'm going" AND THEN THIS MORNING! I read about Sally!!! aka Sarah Elizabeth born on December 10th UM HELLO! MY DAUGHTER IS SARAH ELIZABETH! BORN ON DECEMBER 29TH! then...I read where she married Sam in 1955--that is the same year my parents were married...on Thanksgiving day 1955...and then he died in 1983..my mother remarried on June 3, 1983...WOW! what odd coincedences...odd indeed.. And in two different editions of Star Signs, Linda wears a watch in one picture and no watch in the other. The background is the same. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." An amazing thing has happened to me recently. Last year one of my workmates gave me a watch for my birthday since she got sick of me asking her what the time was. I must add I was working with babies in a child care centre so I would need to know the time for their bottles, lunches etc. I did wear it for a couple of days but it stopped. Then today I took it to get fixed (I've been a bit slack about getting it fixed!!). A new battery was put in and even though the watch works it's not telling the right time - when you wind it to the correct time, it just slows down, therefore showing the wrong time. I am obviously not meant to wear a watch but perhaps rely on my own intuition.Love and Peace, Sunmeaodw Glades. IP: Logged |

I've seen those pictures. I clearly re-call seeing the watch lying in the sand. My clocks are always off. It started When I was a little I used to have a 7pm curfew. My parents bought me a watch so I could be home on time. I used to set mine back when I came home late and blame the watch. Tee! hee! Of course they knew, esp after the 2nd time of being late and using the same excuse. lol. I also have my clocks set 10-15 minutes fast (except the cable box, which gets set by the cable company) so I can make it places on time - because I don't pay attention to time. lol. I have a friend who can't wear watches. No matter the type, wind up or digital, they either stop working or loose/gain time. His father is the same way. IP: Logged |

Re: the other thread linked ... I just checked my Star Signs. The pic of Linda in mine is her sitting on the beach with the watch on. And one finger to the head. As if she's saying "think!" hmmm....IP: Logged |

Also don't wear a watch, for the very reason that it either speeds up/slows down/ or just stops working.Oddly enough - my mom had a beautiful antique clock that also would not keep time, eventually we gave up on winding it up and resetting the time, months later, i was lying in bed and heard it ticking, and then chiming - which was odd bcos it was not wound up at all ???? I eventually told her and she said that she had heard nothing, and we went to the kitchen to chat - as we sat down the clock chimed again, so i joked with her saying it was her gran(who owned the clock) saying hi(i'm not so sure i was wrong in saying that) ------------------ Bright Blessings Sylph IP: Logged |

Justamanda - There are no coincidences in the world. As Starlovers states quote: We are all connected
. It is so true for we are all One.I have not worn a watch in years. I have a clock in my room but my body clock is what I rely on. It is very accurate and dependable. IP: Logged |
