That's very truthful! Right now I can recall Joan of Arc's story, in which she had to perish in the flames, but her heart was still whole.IP: Logged |

Greetings...Not to burst anyone's Holy Bubble... but, we are never alone and never abandoned. We may FEEL that way from time to time, but I think if we remember that God is always with us... and/or that we are always a part of God, then we shall re-member that we are never truly alone. Granted we can Choose to forget that, we can allow the world to beat us down, but if we just take a moment to connect, there will always be a "little angel sitting on our shoulder" to remind us that we are never, ever Alone. In Lexigram: ALONE: ONE LONE ALONE? NO! NO ONE ALONE! And if you add one more L for Love, as Linda would say, then you would see a special message winking out that tells us that we are: ALL ONE Just a thought... Blessings in L.V.X. Eternal... Hi Meili...Perhaps I'm a bit too western in my upbringing, having been brought up a Catholic and now following a Path I can only call Esoteric Christianity (with a twist), but that was just a wee bit Eastern and Zen for my comprehension. I apologize, I don't mean that in a fresh way, but I find myself not "getting" that story nor the explanation I believe you intended it to be. Perhaps we can agree to disagree on the point of abandoned and alone; it doesn't "fit" in my world view. And I'll always be the first to admit... I may be wrong. God Bless... All who travel the path eventually arrive at a stage or point where they are “abandoned”. Christian’s will recognize this aspect in the words of The Christ “my God, why hast thou forsaken me”. the dark night of the soul of mystic christianity. by st john of the cross. abandonment is necessary before one understands that one is never alone and never abandoned... that Alone is All One. one arrives at this understanding when the heart is lost and only the sigh of the essence remains, and the Valley of Non-existence is sighted. meili's: light is not unless darkness is. aselzion's: there is only light. neither is wrong.
