regretably, only Linda could truly answer that. She kept a lot of her more personal things to herself. My understanding is that there were some things she didn't even talk about with her friends. although Aselzion would know more about that than I do as he has actually met her. All I can tell you is what is in her books and what is on the web or that I have found out here.

Of course If I had to try to sum it up as short as possible, I would user her own phrase "Love and Magic". That was what I feel her life was all about, spreading Love and Magic.

I think if you take the time to read through the threads here in Linda's Life, you will learn a lot about Linda's life.

The rest...well, read her books! Read Goooberz!!

I'm inclined to agree with Grayheart. Linda summed her Life up every time she autographed something: "Love and Magic!"

hey until i came on this site....i was pretty much restless about things concerning linda....i just had questions no answers...coz i still have 2 read all her books.....but i thought she was GOD wit all d things she wrote n she knew....but then look closly all the great people are only too human n remarkibly flawed....
her life teaches me one lesson....too much of anything is bad...i mean i realize her great acievments n all tht but she had a very wrong ending.....she died after cutting off her leg....only if she had had been lil sensible and taken the necessary precautions..
she was not tht old to go a lil insane....but when has age been counted as a device...its how much u have learned ur experience n she certainly went thru a lot

vinita, have you met our DistantDrummer? Because he is adamant that Linda is still alive...and, there may be truth in that. None of us knows for sure.

Now. Wherever did you get the idea that Linda was insane? As the story goes, which you can research further here, she was diabetic, and due to poor health and neglect, it was necessary for her leg to be removed. She didn't cut it off.

Of course we are remarkably flawed. So are you!

Please take a look around at all the light Linda created that lives on here, I think you'll find much that delights you.
