I may have missed the answer to this question, with all the posts and such, but after reading Star Signs, I wondered why the gurus' never told Lind what happened to her daughter. Doesn't seem right.

Well, I'm hoping others will have some input on this.

But I suppose it's a matter of perspective. If you believe that Sally did not perish, but was the victim of a government plot, then the gurus did find ways to impart their knowledge to Linda.

If you believe that Sally died, then perhaps the gurus tried, but a mother's grief and will would not allow her to accept their verdict.

I don't think a body was ever found.

Perhaps the GURUs told her Sally was okay but didn't remember her, so that made her want to find her. Who know? Maybe Linda did find her after all.
