Hi all

Just wanted to let everyone know that the online version of Linda's original Star-Notes newsletter is now complete.

http://www.star-notes.com

Thanks so much, Randall, for digging up the hardcopy for the missing June, 1989 issue and sending it to me so it could be scanned and posted. Thanks, too, to Donna and Allison, for your contributions toward this shared project to make Linda's writings available to fans everywhere.

ENJOY!

Love,
Greg

That's fantastic! Finally!

I never knew that Linda had such an interest in the Beatles.
Well, I personally don't think that it could be true (the rumour of Paul McCartney's murder) - regardless of what Linda says. It's a great Star Note, nevertheless!

Unfortunately, scorpioncrystal, I don't think there are any more Starnotes.

Hi everybody,

Star-Notes, http://www.star-notes.com is back. It's nice that ConsciousEvolution.com and Linda-Goodman.com have this shared resource, thanks to Donna (who's a member of both sites) sharing her collection, with Allison helping, and Randall having the impetus to get them online and Greg providing the server to do it. One of the very cool things to come out of the collective Linda Goodman web presence! Greg's beginning natal astrology lessons, which he wrote for our site and also shares here at L-G.com in the free astrology course, also come from our servers and I'll be working on getting those back online.

Shortly after Greg made his transformation, the server company moved us to a fluky server, which crashed badly on the 20th, so I've been moving us to a new server, but it's a lot of data and I've only a dial-up connection up on Cripple Creek here. So I have some classes to teach today and tomorrow but then I'll be back at the online house-moving project.

At consciousevolution.com we also have a set of sound files of Linda reading Gooberz in the manner of a performance. They're from a tape she made, which includes some piano interludes, cymbal crashes ... even Linda singing St. Francis's prayer.

I re-uploaded those on our site (you can reach them by following a link from the front page) but I haven't tested them yet. If anyone wants to download one and give it a listen to make sure they're still working right, that'd be cool.

Love,
Maria

I liked this part:

quote:
It's the knowing. You begin to experience "knowing things." Truth and knowledge you cant prove in tangible ways. You simply know. In the past, religion has called these "knowing things" ...visions. In all ages, skeptics have called them hallucinations, and it's this dichotomy of definition that causes enlightenment, illumination and initiation to be so very lonely.

You know that what you know is true, beyond any doubt, therefore, to hear your visions called hallucinations pains the soul and deeply wounds the spirit. It's a severe test of faith to retain your "knowing" in the face of ridicule.

Thank you Greg and Randall!!!

My mother had ordered these newletters back in the day. She had given them to me...and with my nomadic life, I eventually lost them somewhere along the way. I have kicked myself so many times for this loss. What an awesome gift!
